Are these the forum rules?

Are these the only forum rules?

http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ead-first.html

Are there other rules posted anywheres?

Just asking because people are accusing others of breaking rules that aren't posted in that thread.

I would like to know of any other rules so that I can follow them and not be accused of something...

Thanks!
Lambert

    Hi Lambert:

Those are the overarching rules. However, the WSO section
    also has rules:

I've been here for a few years and thought I knew pretty much.

Now some people are complaining about putting a link in a post to an eBook that could help another poster.

      Is that right?

I thought we should help each other and share.

Sometimes I feel uncomfortable posting here because somebody might jump down your back for no apparent reason, and that doesn't seem to make sense.

Lambert, I understand your confusion. I've shared it on many occassions. As with all relationships rules fluctuate. You'll see trends come and go here. If someone is concerned because you're posting links to ebooks just start PMing people those links or post them in the free ebook forum (Make Money Online Forum). You can always copy the link for the post in that forum and post it as a reply to the user needing help.

There are rules that you agree to when registering
at the forum, posted rules, plus common sense and
netiquette rules that everyone should practice.

There are a bunch of people who figure they own the forum, and will try to act like it, on the theory that you might not notice. They do not own the forum.

There's the ocasional annoyed or annoying person - depending on your tolerance and how often they do it - who will whine up a storm on whatever rule/principle/whatever.

You can pick and chose your particular ruleset as any combination of 1, 1+2, 1+2+3 above.
Ah yes ... and then there are the arrogant blowhards - pompous asses who come blowing into the forum and spout their bs while trying to impress the newbies, but can't fathom why it is that long-time Warriors who love this forum and care about their fellow members point out the scum when they see it enter (wow, that's one of my longer sentences.)

What these morons don't understand is that we've seen it all before, over and over; their act isn't new, it's just rehashed crap that passes through the bowels of the forum and gets dumped in due time.

Usually what you'll see is these clowns come in, make a couple hundred post, alternately arrogant and useless, and then suddenly post a WSO! And as night follows day, usually the first reply to said WSO is from another newcomer to the forum, with only a few, if any, posts under their belt, praising the bs'er.

Of course, most of these sharpies have the good sense to TRY and be civil in their WSO, but a few just can't control their blowhard tendencies.

And now back to your regularly scheduled programming...

And then there are trolls who act as if they are a victim
of some non existent conspiracy and they get all defensive
      when they get called out.

Trolls add no value whatsoever to the forum, in fact all
they do is suck energy away from everyone else with
their snide remarks and shit stirring crap.

I noticed this too. When people offer a link, free ebook or other resource to someone that asked a question, there is always someone ready to accuse the poster of some wrongdoing.

This kind of behavior can kill any community spirit. Only the moderators and forum owners can say what can be done or not. If the post is not deleted or the thread locked then it is easy to assume that it is not against the rules.

Unfortunately that is not true. This is now a member-moderated forum, and a whole lot of crap is falling through the cracks and remaining posted. And too often, when someone who does recognize the crap for what it is, reports it and points it out to the members, others come along and DEFEND the crap and those who posted it.

Golly gee whiz, poligrip, if I wanted to play your game, I'd give you an infraction for that last comment. But, since I'm not a puerile little putz like you, I won't bother - your many asinine posts are quite enough to define your character.

          How's the POS WSO coming?

Edit: You know, I just decided that your half-assed ramblings aren't worth my time, so I've elevated you to exalted company - only the second person added to my "Ignore" list in the forum. Congrats, polident.
