Drupal or Joomla?

Drupal or Joomla?

Which one do you prefer? Which one is easier for a beginner? I would prefer Drupal over Joomla because I cannot stand Joomla and it is too complicated to do simple things.

    If I had to pick between the two, I would go with Joomla. I always preferred the really sophisticated look of Joomla templates over Drupal Templates.

    Might I suggest neither?

    I think Wordpress is much more user friendly and better than both of these in so many ways!

      Agree, but I think Drupal is more advanced and has more features if you know how to use it. I remember reading the White House site is powered by Drupal and that site looks great.

        I use Drupal for all my sites. Yea, it takes a short time to learn how to use it but once you understand modules, themes and some basic configuration then you have a powerful engine under the hood.

        Wordpress is easy but less configurable if you want a little more than just a blog.
