lol, needs some smoothing.

Come one people - we have like a bazillion designers here.

I can't believe we don't have this in place.

And you know - this could be a widget that you can enter in your profile link and your referrer link and it blends the two so if someone was to click it and then join you could get credit for referring the new member.

so now I need a programmer too. roflmao

No, go for it. But use the image I have included in this post - it is resized to 64 x 64 which is standard.

Jill,

1. Download the new image I have attached below. I have resized the image to 64 x 64 so it fits the style of your other buttons much better.

2. Create a new text widget in Wordpress and just drop this code straight into it:

Important:

Make sure you upload the image attached to this post to your folder where all the other social icon images are > wp-content/themes/headway-2008/media/images/social/

Once you have done that all the code should be working. I also fixed a few little errors you had in your original code.

Let me know how that works!

Update:

I just re-read your post and saw that your theme has the social built into it already. Are you sure you can't disable the social box from within the theme? maybe if you remove your social urls such as your Facebook url, etc, then it won't show. If that doesn't work then you will either need to find out how to delete the social box from your theme and then just add a text widget with the code I included above, or you will need to find out which file the code for the social box is in and simply add this code to that box:

I'm not too familiar with the headway theme so not sure which file that social code is in. I am sure someone else here will know.

OMG, it looks FANTASTIC!

The social widget there has fields to input which are predetermined - but because of the way headway runs it looks a bit tricky to try to edit a widget that is custom made for the theme.

No worries - I could just disable it and use your fantastic code.

I was asking the site (headway) if there was a way to add the fields too - and I could have cheated and subbed a "vimeo" slot with a link to wf and changed the name of the pic but the hover would have been all wrong and that would have annoyed me to no end.

Thank you so much Will! And I know some others may appreciate this particular icon as well.

I'll most certainly be pointing my finger your way to anyone looking for some graphic work to be done.

@Jill: Open the main widget in photoshop (the joined one in your first post). Place the WF widget in it, use the slice tool. Save as html. and get the html code. Place it in wordpress and everything will be aligned.

LOL, you make it sound so easy.

I just got it somewhat centered and figured out how to give it a nice title on the hover.
