What are your top 3 ways to build a list? Mine are:

1. Solo Ads
2. Ad Swaps
3. Video Marketing

    What the ....??? Top 3 and no JV partners? Should be the first one

    Mine is:
    1. JV Partners
    2. Forums (people often opt-in when you help them, it takes time but it's fun)
    3. Facebook Page + Ads (so easy to build)

      There are many warriors that offer solo ads to there list. Most times it not the cheapest, but very effective. I also use the Directory of Ezines.

    1)First, take advantage of the marketing programs you've already got in place.
    2)back link to your website from listings on partner or affiliate sites so consumers land at the right place.
    3)know your audience. Once a consumer has opted in, then should come the personal information

      The all mighty SEO. I have a love/hate relationship with SEO. It works, but it can be time consuming. I try to do a combination of marketing that result in quick traffic, optins and sales; and SEO for longevity.

    • Make the opt-in or sign up link visible, allow the user to sign up with their name and email address; the other personal information can come later.
    • know your audience. Once a consumer has opted in, then should come the personal information make opting in simple.

    Personally, my best way of building my email list are through search engine traffic. I have gotten more sales and conversions through search engine traffic than any other safe lists ... This is why I'm no longer with safe lists such as safe-swap because after a month sure you will get alot of new leads, but not many sales compared to search engine traffic. I have seen that my list has also decreased after sending out solo mailings and safe list swaps as such. In my opinion, if you value your list, stick with search engines and reviews from other people. I would really need to vet out the other person's list first in order to send an email to them.

    The way for me to build a list is by providing something of value for free. It can be either a report or a video tutorial about a certain IM niche.

    The best response in my opinion is by offering a free WSO. Again, make sure that you offer something of value not just some cheap rehashed PLR stuff.
