    Hey Camrodi,

There are a couple of ways to know if a site is converting.

If it is a clickbank product you can go to the clickbank market place and check out the gravity score for the product. If there is a higher gravity score you will be able to see that people are making sales of that product.

    Hope that helps,

Invest the time and money to learn good salesmanship, from what makes a good landing page, sales letter, offer and funnel etc. Then look at the site and make sure it has all of these things in place. If it does not have the fundamentals in place, your unlikely to see good conversions.

That will help keep you from getting involved in things that your obviously going to be wasting money and time on.

    However, after that..........

Honestly the only way to know how well a product is converting is to throw an amount of traffic at it that is statistically significant from a few sources and then see how it converts.

IMHO anyone who tells you anything else is blowing a little bit of smoke.

If it is Clickbank product you can to the marketplace and look at the gravity, but sometimes that my be deceptive, especially if a product was just recently launched.

So In general what I do is chose products that I feel the sales page sold me on. In addition, I like to choose products that have an opt-in form, that generally means the merchant is aggressive in getting those sales.

    Hey Marc,

I'll just add to that and say that if they do have an opt-in form, make sure you opt-in then check that you're aff link is still credited once you click thru their email sales funnel. It's important to check they don't override your link.
