Twitter App for getting Followers

Well I am going to tell my experience with TweetBig, I am not promoting or anything, hehe.. Well, I started my first twitter account 3 days ago because I wanted to start promoting in twitter so read some articles in how do you get followers.. I found a application named "TweetBig" ( That was in my second day ), well I join for a 7 day 1$ trial and I am now in my 3th day. Well this app is getting me targeted followers. Its getting me about 100-120 targeted followers a day. I am in my 3th day of twitter and in my 2nd day of the app I already have 220 followers.. in 2 days.. if you want more information just put Tweetbig in YouTube there are some videos that explain how it works..
They have also a good option that is call the time bomb that decide how long to give users to follow you back, if they don't they will show you and let you unfollow. ( I setted up to 2 days..) .

Well I think is to early to say if the program is very good or bad..
But if you know a better program tell me so I can tried. Or if you have a bad review in TweetBig tell me and I will stopped before they charge me 17$ for the monthly fee.

Well I just wanted to help people that want more targeted followers in twitter..

If you are looking for other marketers to join your list of followers then you should get plenty of those "targeted" followers.

You don't say what sort of niche you are in but from what I've seen of follower lists outside IM, very few seem to attract a useful list of followers. Yes, they get the numbers but, just looking closely at who is following you'll see that they are mostly promoters and bots - basically accounts that will pay no attention to your messages.

Just because a software promoter says his tools will gain you 'targeted' followers doesn't necessarily mean they will. Lots of people are more impressed with numbers than with the 'quality' of followers. It isn't difficult to get large numbers. Quality takes more patience and more work.

Hummm...You have a point! That is really interesting. I will take a closer look in to my followers, I will look for bots and that sort of thinks. I already did some tweets with good information in order to help people and gather followers.. But I will wait until I have 1k followers and start promoting.. If I get good results I will make a review.. And also if a get bad results I will tell you guys also .
Oh.. My name in twitter is @affiliate4good you can also take a look at my followers and see if they are good leads..

Your software doesn't seem to be pulling the blind bots which don't even bother with sensible content but you can see from your list that just about everyone on your list is promoting something and most have links that lead to something else.

Beyond a small number of followers it becomes very difficult to manage a list due to the sheer numbers - especially once you pass 2,000 followers. Internet marketers, especially, which is the group you are aiming at, will largely be using software and relatively few will be seeing your messages and even fewer will be interested.

I can see that you've gone to some trouble to find content that might interest readers but it seems to me that a key difficulty you face is that your 'niche' is too broad. You've chosen Affiliate Marketing, which is almost synonymous with Internet Marketing - it doesn't let people see you as anything more than another marketer.

I suggest you think of branding yourself and targeting an aspect of IM such as lead generation, building traffic, building backlinks, article marketing, social media, Adsense, SEO, website conversion, etc. In other words, become more specialized.

Then include among your messages a lot of useful tips for the area of your specialty. These are easy enough to come by - just check the articles at any large article directory for some ideas. And don't include a link in these tips. Give them away freely without expecting (immediate) payback because you're a generous guy!

This will help to brand you as an authority in your chosen niche and your followers - those who appear to be in harmony with what you are offering - will pay more attention when you make recommendations, such as to visit other web pages.

Also, when you want to send followers to a link, don't be boring. Look at how the Adsense ads do it. Make sure your message mentions specific benefits gained by those who follow your link.

Id say dont even waste your time with twitter. sure it was fun for a while and everyone was making great money on twitter a year or two back. Then more and more marketers started showing up and everyone made less and less money. Basically I have found that anyone that you follow, and they follow you back, is in it for them self. They want you to remain following them so they can benefit.

So in short I wouldnt waste my time on twitter, and I definetly wouldnt pay to waste my time on twitter.

In the time that you can start making money on twitter, you could have made thousands else where.

Well thats all my wisdom for the day, Im done rambling.

    Thanks

I respectfully dissent from Travis' opinion

They key to using any social media marketing is building your brand by providing value, and throwing in the occasional commercial message using a soft-sell approach.

Here is a Twitter strategy that I just started using a few days ago which is free and targeted. I have been getting between 80-130 new followers per day as a result.

Step One: Identify the keywords which are relevant to your target market.

Step Two: Go to "search.twitter (dot) com" and type in one of your keywords. This will search for and find the most recent Twitter posts which contain this keyword.

Step Three: Click on the username of one of the individuals who sent the tweet. What you are looking for to determine if you want to follow this individual is the following:

    a. Do they have a profile picture?

    b. Have they completed their bio, and do they fit within your niche?

    c. Have they changed the default Twitter background?

    d. Are their tweets purely promotional, or is there any substance? Hint: You want substance.

    e. How frequently do they tweet? Hint: You want the most active Twitter users.

    Step Four

Look at their followers by clicking on the "Followers" link. Here you are looking for people who are relevant to your niche. To do this, hit "Ctrl F" on your keyboard, and type in your keyword. Then scroll through this list of followers, and start following them by applying the steps outlined above in (a) to (e).

    Step Five

Now we wait for 12-24 hours for these people to follow us back. Believe me, it will happen.

Of course, if someone doesn't follow you back within this time period, you don't want to follow them. I will outline how you identify and remove them in Step Six below.

    Step Six

Go to "dossy(dot)org/twitter/karma/", and hit the "Sign in with Twitter" button. "Allow" this application to access your Twitter account. You will then be taking back to the website, at which time you will hit "Whack". This will take you to a page where you will see all of the people in your Twitter network.

At the top of the page you will see "Sort by: Last updated", which you want to keep, and "Show: All". You want to change this to "Show: Only Following". This will reveal to you all of the people who you are following, who are not following you back.

Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you will see the least active Twitter users. Under their avatars, you will see a link which says "unfollow". Start clicking these links one by one, and work your way up. This will automatically unfollow the people who are not following you. If one of them starts following you in the future, you can just follow them back.

One of the keys to this strategy is identifying people on Twitter within your niche who have a lot of followers. You want to make a note of these people, check their follower lists daily, and repeat this strategy.

Also, I am in the Central Time Zone in the USA. I find that this strategy works best when I implement it at night before I got to bed.

My Twitter name is @brianlett. If you look at my followers, you will see that most of them have the term "market" in their bios. This is because I search for users with this term in their bio due to the fact that it is relevant to "marketer" and "marketing", which is my niche.

Last Monday I had less than 79 followers. As right now, I have 542 followers using this strategy. There are some other strategies which I am going to implement as well, in the future, and I will discuss them here in a separate post to give you some feedback.

Hopefully all of this will help someone out as it is a completely free, completely effective strategy.

Step One: Identify the keywords which are relevant to your target market.

Curios about step 1 - is identifying keywords on twitter any different than identifying via, say, google? As in, do twitter uses follow the same patterns as people searching the net?

I found that what was really important was not so much identifying Keywords as identifying and understanding your target audience - the age, gender, education, income, interests and needs of that market.

Of course, this applies to those looking to build a quality, targeted list of people who are interested in what you have to say. They are also much more responsive in following back. I normally expect around 40% to follow back. If the topics of your tweets are of only remote interest to prospective followers, fewer will follow back. When they are keenly interested in your content, the follow backs will be higher.

Following with software also gathers a lot more people from non-English speaking countries, those who are not very active on Twitter, and other bots. As well, software targeting with keywords can have a soft focus. For instance, the word 'fitness'' has meanings not associated with good health.
