Poll: How much and how long it took you to make money online

Just a little side cash here and there, haven't really tried too much.

been at this since january and have made around $70

Online? When I made a review sites with some basic onsite seo and articles - 3 months
Offline? Called clients, and within a month got some offline clients for basic things like setting up wp sites, setting up social media accounts etc

The steps are pretty simple. Choose a method you believe you would enjoy doing over the long haul. Mine is content marketing and selling content.

Second, roll up your sleeves and start working. Take consistent action.

Three, measure as many things as possible so you know what is working and what is not.

Four, research how to fix what is not working, and do more of what is working. (For me that means continue increasing quality of my content and pushing it to the right places.)

Five, If you master this method, you can choose to learn another one, or ramp up this method through outsourcing, or partnerships. (I consider myself to be in this phase right now.) Currently I am in the process of adding another revenue stream, which within 30 to 60 days SHOULD require I start outsourcing some work. (Excluding my wife, I don't consider her outsource labor, she's the partner with the whip.)

Seven, You did catch the part about taking action? Seriously...this action stuff is pretty darn important.

Been at this a little over two years. Not full time but steady. I have tried different methods. I have made $17.87, but that is clickbank so i haven't gotten any of it yet.

I guess it's just me. Everyone here posts how they just do this and that and the money just flows. I am doing article affiliate marketing now. I have over forty articles accepted by E-zine. That's where the $17.87 came from.

Well I've been at this a couple of years. I made my first money online as soon as I started, but that's only because I started writing articles for money. I found an ad, responded to it, got the job and got paid that day. I didn't work for huge amounts but I quickly made a living for writing on the internet. That's what lead me to seek out passive sources of income, although those took a lot more learning nd effort to achieve (and I'm still working on it!)

The variety is excellent here.
