Best Free WP Theme I have Seen In A Long Time!

Spending my 'break' time surfing around and came across a really neat and FREE WP theme - it's the most flexible free theme I have seen and apparently compliant all the way to 2.7.

I have only played a bit with it but you can change colors, width of blog as well as columns, easily change out the full header graphic etc without having to mess with the code - and MOST UNIQUE - I had a question about something and the developer actually RESPONDED to my email!! If you do much with WP - you gotta know how rare that is!

Anyway - thought that this might be a nifty resource for Warriors since I hadn't seen it posted here before - if I missed and am duplicating something, my apologies! But I do sleep once in awhile ;-)

  • You're so right! Not only rare, but a good opportunity to develop a relationship with an experienced WP theme devleloper, if you're into WP. I read a little further on the site and discovered that he's looking for feedback to develop it further.

    This is great timing...I'm just now putting up a couple of niche WP sites and trying to decide on themes.

  • Great - Ryan is the theme designer and we have had a nice little dialogue back and forth! Check out the graphics you can download to go with it - he's done a nice job with it!

    • Definitely a great theme! I think we should all contribute to his efforts by sending a donation his way- The theme looks great and not only is he giving away the theme, but all the great graphics that come along with it - I will certainly use this on my next niche blog project.

      I'm a big believer in the value of great content for blogs. But a pretty blog speaks volumes! Yes...he definitely deserves donations for this one!

  • This one is nice. I hadnt seen it, which is weird because I constantly am looking for new themes. The only other theme I have ever loved was one theme. Its so beautiful.

  • I found this theme a while ago and posted in a separate thread about it. I've used it on several Wordpress sites that I've done work on and it's great.

    Very well designed theme with inbuilt Adsense capability etc and takes a lot of the behind the scenes stuff away.

    • Just got finished installing it and playing around with different colors, backgrounds and headers. What a treat!

      It's easy to work with, and I can see all sorts of possibilities, like changing the colors and patterns to fit with a season or holiday.

      This is like an early Christmas present!

  • Melody, I don't know if you believe in the Law of Attraction, but this find fits right into a flow of well being I have been in all week long.

    This is just what I needed for a project I am currently working on. I have been looking at tutorials on how to customize a theme myself but really didn't want to go that route, this is awesome.

    The funny part is that I also am trying to GIVE away free mobile marketing accounts - FREE! - and yet this post is getting all the traffic!

    LOL - I guess IMers are just tough to switch sometimes!!!

    Anyway glad all enjoyed the theme - and YES! I do so believe in LOA!! It has done wonderful things for me!!

    1-- I am trying to stay focused on one thing right now.
    2-- I don't have a cell phone that has email access yet.

      I understand the need to stay focused but - this if you are trying to build a customer list - this is just another way to stay in touch with your subscribers. More people have their phones with them all day than their computers ;-)

      And it has nothing at all to do with your phone or it's capabilities - you send it from your computer, and it is a one way broadcast - no text messaging responses back to you.

    • I posted about this a few months ago and It is a great theme, I created a few simple headers for this theme nothing special as i whipped them out in about 5 minutes.

      Ryan is a nice fellowand has always been quick with answers i have had about the flexibilty theme.

  • I first became aware of the Flexibility theme when Jason Moffatt started using it on his blog (Jason Moffatt) - I see that blog a lot because I use the Niche Browser a lot.

    It's a great theme. I've downloaded it and plan to try it out soon.

  • Hey Warriors, thanks for all the great comments about the theme! Melody and I had a nice back and forth yesterday about various topics and she said she was going to post a link to my theme. I didn't expect such an overwhelming positive response!

    Glad you guys are enjoying the theme and I hope to get at least a video or two up on the site in the near future to just show some of the possibilities of the theme. I haven't seen anyone trick it out too much as most people stay pretty close to the default settings, but check out the image gallery to get an idea of what it can do.

    It's a work in progress and unfortunately my time is absorbed by some other online ventures at the moment, but I'll hopefully be able to get some new graphics (especially headers) posted for download soon.

    Great forum here at WF. I need to visit more often!
