    I use the 'Platinum SEO' plugin. It has a few more features than the 'All in One SEO'.

    FYI, here is what Canonical urls are, taken straight from Matt Cutt's (Google) blog:

    Q: What is a canonical url? Do you have to use such a weird word, anyway?
    A: Sorry that it’s a strange word; that’s what we call it around Google. Canonicalization is the process of picking the best url when there are several choices, and it usually refers to home pages. For example, most people would consider these the same urls:

    www.example.com
    example.com/
    www.example.com/index.html
    example.com/home.asp

    But technically all of these urls are different. A web server could return completely different content for all the urls above. When Google “canonicalizes” a url, we try to pick the url that seems like the best representative from that set.
    So canonical urls are the search engine friendly urls that you want the search engines to treat as authoritative. When you activate this feature in the plugin it will automatically add a tag to the header section of your page that specifies the preferred url for the search engines to use.

    This tag will look something like this:

    <link rel="canonical" href="http://www.mywebsite.com/" />

      When configuring the all-in-one seo plugin, I change the "%post_title% | %post_title%" to "%post_title%"

      basically, I remove the extra "%post_title%" with the pipe sign.

      Does that really make a difference or should I just leave it?
