Selling Keyword Match domains advice needed.

Hellloooo Forum.

I need some advice.. I've been googling and googling looking for answers that I deem worthy, but I am such a skeptic!

So I thought what better way to learn than to pick the wonderful brainz here, and educate everyone else who reads this, not only myself.

I bought a keyword match domain (actually 4 of the same, .com .info .org .net)
that is extremely relevant to what has been going on in the media lately, and is something that is going to be searched more and more in the years to come.

I basically bought it to sell it, but then got to thinking, since this is something that is just starting to become widespread in the media and is going to spike over the years to come, would it be wiser to keep the domain and throw a site together around it, in hopes that it will grow in value.

So what do you think, would I get the most money by selling it now, since someone else could appreciate its value and want to get their site started from the beginning which would help them in many ways, or should I make the effort to get a site going and wait until the next time the topic is a worldwide focus?

I've been creeping the Domain based forums and such, but I seem to feel akin to other 'Warriors'.. (It's a nice feeling actually!!) So I would rather base my decisions here. Even though, you could be the exact same people just under a different username

xx

I always think that money today is worth more than money tomorrow. So there's a part of me that says get rid of it but...

You don't have to take the first bid from the first bidder...

My friend always reminds me that 'everyone has a price' and I think if you start to take enquires you might soon find yours : )

I don't know what your domain is, but based on what you told us, I would build a site indeed and make it popular, maybe you could make it even rank if there's low competition now. That will make the domain and site's worth take off if it becomes something incredibly popular

Yah, I'm all about the instant gratification, that's why I'm struggling with this decision. Also, I have only worked online with Selling PLR and Niche Sites without straying very much in any other directions as I've done pretty well with only that. Old school basics, build a site, content, product, affiliate product, article marketing etc.

    SO.

If I was to keep the Domain myself and build something for the future, what would be the best way to monetize it as there isn't a 'product' or affiliate product to sell?

I haven't dealt with a high traffic informational site before, and don't have the personal experience to know how to monetize it successfully.

    SO.

I was hoping someone would be kind enough to tell me what works for them and save me years of trial and error.
There are a thousand and one e-book, guides articles what have you online, who to believe??

**I don't always make it back to check on threads, so if you'd like me to elaborate feel free to PM me, I try to make sure to check my inbox regularly and am happy to help..

I wouldn't have pulled a $9k week w/Teespring etc without the help of others, so it's time to pay it forward.
I can make a little room in my life for that. ;)

If you own all the TLD domains, why not share your hit with us?
It would make things a lot easier to know what you are talking about.
I don't mean to doubt you or anything, but a lot of things "might" become big in the future, you can't know for sure. Also, no one will be able to give you precise advice without knowing that this relates to...
No one can steal your domains now, so you can only benefit from telling us...

I was going to, but then remembered that it's not private so my email is displayed, I don't want to risk an inbox full of marketing spams anymore than I've already got..

I actually think this will be my 50th post, so I will message it to you and see what you think? It is 50 needed to send PMs right?

I believe since you're a War Room member that the 50 rule does not apply to you. I am interested in checking them out as well though. Would you be willing to PM me the sites too? I'll give you my thoughts on them - if that's worth anything.
