Found low compete keywords - now what?

Greetings,

I've found some key words that are getting roughly 300,000 or so searches monthly on a global level. These key words have little to no competition and I'm not curious as to what the best method is to possibly monetize the site? I understand that this means little to nothing until I get it to the top of the search engines. My main question is -

Do I just go with Adsense and hope people click on the ads?

Do I make a product in regards to the subject and try to sell it, and promote myself as an expert in regards to the topic?

Should I try to find a product on Clickbank and attempt to promote that on the site?

Do I find products that would fit the niche on Amazon and offer reviews on them?

What would you guys suggest? Now, the keywords that I would be focusing on don't really relate to a consumer type product. Though, I think there are various ways in regards to still monetize the site. I also, though about just putting quite a bit of useful information about the subject on the site and place the products here and there, etc. Just trying to figure out the best way to approach it and make sure I'm not really wasting my time, etc.

Thanks for any advice you guys can offer.

- TC

Well you can tell me what the keywords are

Seriously though, you need to make sure they are really that low of competition. Are you checking the exact search? What do your competitors look like? Amount of backlinks, on page SEO, domain names?

I would start with adsense, and then integrate clickbank and amazon later. First goal is to get traffic in the first place.

Well, I'm just doing some "basic" searches right now with Googles Keyword tool. When I get back to my PC with Market Samurai, I'll be able to tell a little bit better. Though, right now for a key word that is showing being searched for roughly 300k per month - there is no competition in regards to what Google is telling me. I think I'll build an informative type site on the subject and move on from there.
