just set up your google webmasters account and add you site to it. This is all it takes to get detailed stats about your site on google.

Just click in google. Page rank checker. And then you will found some great websites where you can check your pagerank.

Try RankTracker. I believe they have a free version. The paid one is very cool nevertheless. Otherwise, go with RankChecker, an addon for Firefox made by SEOBook

You can use seoserp(dot)com. This will allow you to track your rankings up to 1000 in both Google and Yahoo!.

Another vote here for RankTracker. The free version will let you find out all your rankings in almost any search engine you want in any country for any keyword.

I have been using this for a few weeks now and the results are pretty much dead on everytime.
One of the most accurate tools you will find for this type of thing (trust me, I've tried many).

You can read more and download the free version here:

The easiest way to do it is using the google webmaster tools. That set of tools gives you global average rank and does not depend on region to region. Ranks differ from one region to another therefore it is essential that you know where your sites rank all over

      1. This will only tell you where it ranks in Google.

      2. I don't believe you get to choose the keywords you are searching for.

      3. I don't like the idea of Google knowing all the sites/domains I own.

      4. I don't just want the global search. For a lot of my local sites I want to know where those sites are ranking in country specific search engines as well.

Is this better than the rank tracker of Market Samurai?

I use Market Samurai and SEO Scout but to be fair, none of the programs give definite results.

Market Samurai says one of my sites is 7th for a keyword but I'm getting over 2,000 uniques per month according to google analytics.

Go figure! I wouldn't worry too much about where it says you rank, I usually look at google analytics to see how well my sites are doing and for what keywords they're ranking highly for.

Market Samurai's rank checker has been a disaster lately. Very frustrating.

I am going to use a proven training process I learned as a Cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point in the mid 1970's. The US Army has perfected this model training millions of soldiers over the years.
