Hey guys. I'm planning to create a book similar to chicken soup for the soul.

I have stories but it was not written by really great story tellers/writers.

What kind of writers do I need to turn a simple story to a really touching stories like chicken soup?

  Well, it sounds like the type of writing you're talking about would be considered narrative non-fiction. In general, you'd want a good editor to rewrite/rework the material into a compelling piece. In this case, I think an editor would be better than a writer because they'll be more likely to keep the voice of the original author, which you want in something like this.

No I didn't say any type of writer, I said a good writer who can do that type of work.

One of the first writing jobs I did included rewriting the stories of people and also wrote the book for the publishing house.
