wohoo - I did Facebook profile page for up coming movie

I wrote a post thread earlier about limitless movie:

Then I pitched them to do the profile picture for the fan page and they have added to the page

It is a small step but they have asked me to do more and now I have an email address with a direct contact.

Once I do a few more I will pitch to do further landing pages. Of course now I will be able to pitch other companies with the work I have done hoping to use this as credibility to get some high-end clientele.

I figure if I want to make some serious money with my passion for design and have a leading digital agency I might as well pitch those with serious money to spend.

      It is just the profile pic that they used after I sent them 3 versions.

      I stated this in the email:

      "I have added two simple versions that stick to the theme of the original that is up there now however at the same time captivates the curiosity of the viewer with the contrast of the close up image and the text. Some of the questions on the wall are asking what the film is about, the profile picture does not intend to answer the question but intends to peak the questioners attention more"

    I'm confused. It's just a photo of Bradley Cooper from their website with a line of text above it. They really needed to outsource that?!

      They had an image on there before but the text was not clear and the picture was small and the whole image was about 200px x 50px.

      So I decide to tell them that I would do it for them. My intention is to build a portfolio of clientele that I have done work for that are high-end clientele, I did not charge them for it and they need not have accepted it but I knew they would since it was coming from a 'fan' who was eager to do it

      The pitch discussed psycological triggers to attract the audience to know more about the film when they see the text and image [the stuff used in advertising and IM]

      The point however I am still making is just going and there and doing it to get the jobs even if it is free. Since I have already shown a free people and they are now looking at my abilities in a different light.

      It is now not about the work/picture but credibility has gone up 1264% fold
