Will this hurt my site?

I have a site in the gaming niche that is about 1 month old.

According to site explorer i have about 18 backlinks (not so good).

I have just purchased a blast of 5320 VERIFIED profile links from fiverr.

Will this hurt my site after 1 month of age?

    post will probably be moved to the SEO section, but most likely it will result in a loss of rank for about a month while Google sits and verifies the links and decides where to place you.

    I don't think you will have much of a problem. More than likely, 10 of those 5k links will stick. And as LMC said, if it does lose spots, it's only the Google dance...not that sandbox thing everyone thinks happens.

    Matt - Definitely connect with the party you purchased the link blast from. With your site, you need to ease into link building so you don't get Google-smacked Spread those links out over a few months and keep tabs on the submissions and results. Webmaster Tools, Majestic SEO and SEOMoz can be a big help in monitoring that.

      You don't call a google dance a smack or hint at a penalty, do you? Because that ain't gonna happen, no matter if it's 5k or 500k links.

      I think it's a waste to spread out profile blasts over a few months, especially at a small quantity like 5k. However, if a site is newer than 3 months and hasn't seen any proper offpage seo (like it's the case here), you can definitely expect to dance around quite a bit.

    Actually the site is one month old only don't create too much backlink with in a month.When your site reaches say some six months then do blast,otherwise site might get sandboxed.
