If you want traffic fast the best way is to pay for that traffic. Via PPC ads in Google or Facebook. You can get a lot of visits that way. Of course it would be expensive to achieve 30000 visits per month this way.

You can also combine this with natural google traffic that goes to a blog in your site. Post 3 good articles per week and in 6 months you can achieve that goal with just pure Google organic traffic.

Two quick ways are social media and PPC. However.... alot of social media traffic can suck. And PPC can get very expensive - especially on Google Adwords and Bing Ads. So if you wanted 1000 visitors per day from PPC, you would probably have to resort to one of the tier 2 or tier 3 PPC platforms. Nature of the business.

This method is called a bitcoin faucet. There are many providers who will provide you with a script for this (and most often the script is free!). Once you install their script and deposit some bitcoin to giveaway, they will put you on their list (like this one https://paytoshi.org/faucets if you use paytoshi) and drive a ton of traffic to your site.
As you can see from this list the top site has an alexa ranking of 31k and probably around 10k-15k visitors per day.

I found that creating pranks is a great way to drive targeted traffic to a website. I recently made a prank stating that Johnny Depp will be the next Night King in Game of Thrones and it went viral quickly. From that one prank I managed to get over 7000 visitors to my prank site.

From what I have been told, being a marketing major, it is very possible- but you need to know your field as well or better then the competition.

You will spend hours upon endless hours of reading. It should pay off in the long run- but this is going to be a slow process (unless you are famous).

Anyways, I am wondering wether spending money is an option or not. If you have some money to invest you could buy some sort of ads. Facebook ads, Twitter ads,... it all depends on what niche you are in. OR you could buy a solo, which is really email list traffic.

If you have no money to invest I would recommend this:

Join a forum related with your niche. Add a signature and contribute to the forum a load. A signature is the writing under your name. Also, make sure to create curiosity in your signature. Also make it super interesting.This means more clicks.

Another option is to setup a youtube account. With Youtube, you can get some excellent traffic. Just start a channel and start posting excellent videos. Then just add a link to your site in the description. Make sure to do some keyword research on the video you want to do. Make sure to choose keywords with low competition and high traffic! BTW You can use Google's keyword tool to find some keywords that have high traffic and low competition.

Here is another free option: Just regularly post excellent articles on your site! Overtime, I believe your site will rank up and you will get more and more organic search traffic!

In my opinion paid ads will get you fast traffic, but will cost! You choose!

Instead of asking around, you could look at the way highly trafficked sites are set up, and try to mask their methods.

The best way is to write regular content for your site and keywords should have good searched but competition should be low. Building backlinks is also very important but do remember Google guidelines.

1) Create a product
2) Ask others to promote it (affiliates)
2) Offer 100% commissions up front

That can easily translate into 1000 visitors per day for free.

Of course, I am just summarizing the idea, but basically, that is how it works. That is what
I have learned from my own experience.

Now, if you're searching for an income, you won't need 1000 visitors per day.

e.g. many business get their referrals from satisfied clients (word to mouth). They might not receive 1000's of clients to start with, but they do have paying customers.

As others have mentioned, social media is a great avenue to help pull traffic to your site. Set up on of the platforms keeping your branding consistent, and start putting out snippets of your content and then provide a link for the full article.
