Where to find a Cheap survey panel?

I want to run a survey of a group of consumers. I would like to have some basic demographic targetting, but not particularly fussy (eg no "23 - 26 yo nurses in western Nebraska").

Anyone know where I can get access to a survey panel cheap? Or even any ideas for doing something free?

    SurveyMonkey's good value for money - just sign up for one month and use all the features. And, there are lots of similar competitors.

    For most people, it's better just to pay a few dollars and get a solution that works.

    If you want to install something, or you're planning on running lots of surveys, I've had success with LimeSurvey, which is open source and will more than do the job too.

      Ok, I don't think that's particularly common terminology. You mean you want people with those demographics to complete the survey.

      You could use any of the big survey companies who have a register of users and can target it, but you'll be paying several dollars per participant.

      Cheapest thing would probably be to advertise on Craigslist and find someone in the local area who is willing to canvas for appropriate people to fill the survey in (possibly on paper).

      In your example, sending them to the hospitals would probably be the most cost-effective way.
