Celebrities and Internet Marketing

Hello everyone.

Most of you all don't know who Professor Green is, he is a rapper from the UK.

I follow him on Twitter/Facebook and he just posted a listing on ebay called Twitrelief .

He offers to retweet one of the winners tweets and will follow them for 90 days.

He is doing this to raise money for underdeveloped countries...Kind of cool.

Just curious, does anyone else see other celebrities do similar things to this online?

Yes, literally more than a hundred major celebrities are doing this for Japanese Tsunami relief, thousands more tweet advertisements

Yeah. Indeed, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry currently encourage fans to donate to Japan Disaster Relief. Lady Gaga has created a white and red "We Pray For Japan" bracelet that fans can buy for $5.

I'm sure there are loads of celebs helping with charity via twitter. I think ad.ly is working with celebs and paying them to endorse products in tweeds. Kim Kardashian, Charlie sheen and snoop dogg have all reportly been endorsing certain products through their tweeds and can get up to 25k a tweet.

I think more and more will start doing this.

Haha, I must be out of the loop.
I guess I don't pay close enough attention to celebrities now of days...
But it's nice that they show heart and use what they have to change lives.

I wonder what thats like??? I mean I get them helping people and the world is a better place because of them...but I wonder what it would be like to literally have a huge following that would pretty much buy anything you throw at them because of who you are.

    haha we'll get there someday

There's always some pros and cons. I wouldn't want to be famous.

But yeah, being able to pull something off like that. It's great
