A stupid question but its been a while since I done anything on WP.

How do you add your name to the post, ie posted on 15 Mar 2011 by ???????

Put this in your template..

<?php the_author_posts_link(); ?>

Modify it the way you want it

If it is the homeppage, then index.php of your theme folder...

wp-content/themes/themename/index.php

You need to look for the loop where the posts are generated and then add it there..
