Starting a price comparison site?

Anyone know if its possible to obtain a script or plugin to do your own price comparison website?

Is it hard to set up or easy?

    ...the most popular and reliable scripts are from kaonsoftwares.com (it's a little bit pricey) and from pricetapestry.com

    Also there is a joomla component affiliate feeds (it's free)

    Which is more easy to set up if you know how to set up a joomla site and load a component !

    There is a script called Affilistore2 which we have been using for some time now and can be used as a stand alone script or as a back end to a niche site. The script is called Affilistore and is free but you can get good affilistore templates that rock.
    This is a stand alone script but can be put on the backend of Wordpress or any other CMS system and you can integrate PHP code content boxes.

    I thought about this idea and I wanted to use Affiliate Datafeed Price Comparison Script | Price Tapestry " I am not an affiliate" but never had the chance as I went to another direction..

    The script owner has superior support and they have a forum to ask whatever you want, he replies and helps.. I think his name was David.

      an interesting model, my noob question;

      Does an niche price comparison site (with say 100 or more products from that niche) who get perhaps 500 search volume in month, makes really good money as an affiliate?

      How do I backlink building with such a site, with the domain keyword only or with all 100 products sites to get good ranking???
