Very Frustrated - Nameserver problem

INTERNET MARKETING

I am getting really frustrated over this. I bought a domain parentingboost.com 2 days ago so it has been 48 hours now and according to my computer it is still showing a parked GoDaddy domain.

I figured it was just taking a while for the nameservers to change over, but after 48 hours I contacted GoDaddy about it and they say it's all changed and on their end when they look up the domain it is showing a hostgator page.

I have cleared my history, cookies etc. and I even looked it up on Google Chrome which I hadn't looked it up with before and it is still showing as GoDaddy parked domain.

So, can someone please look it up for me and see what it shows on your end. If it is showing Hostgator then how can I get it to show on my end???

Open up CMD and type in the following: "ipconfig /flushdns"

And if you want, you can turn off DNScache, but that may cause some other problems. It's better to just use that command.

"Command (prompt)" I think ... MS-Dos window where you can type stuff in?

Command Prompt.

Go into your accessories tab and then find Command Prompt. Sorry, I am on Windows right now. Just made me think for a second myself, usually running Linux.

I think I might have fixed it. I went into clear history/cookies again and this time I also selected 'site preferences' and now I'm seeing Hostgator.

So frustrating!!!!

Yep all sorted, installed my forum, now that can frustrate me for a while why I try getting it all set up

Oh my gosh, for some stupid reason it has just popped back to the GoDaddy page here - grrrr this is so frustrating.

Should I just give it more time? I might try that CMD thingy if I can work it out
