Is it easier to promote cheapter products on YouTube?

I'm promoting some products as an affiliate, and one of my routes is YouTube. I got to thinking though that maybe some of the products I am promoting are too expensive for what I am doing on YouTube, and was wondering if cheaper products that cost maybe like $10 would convert better than say, a $97 product. Any thoughts are welcome. Have a great upcoming year and holidays.

      Thanks. I have no idea how to go about that, however, and I am trying to stick to one method at a time because I know I will contract information overload again and end up doing nothing.

    Wouldnt the video just bring them to your site and your site do the selling ? i have heard it said the same amount of effort used to sell a$10 product can be used to sell a higher price product with similar results. Everybody watches youtube now from the teenyboppers to the professional so it covers all demographics I think.
