Some random ideas that I'm brainstorming...

She can start a personal blog that reflects a personality that has mass appeal (i.e. appeals to the typical male loser). Post up a lot of pics. Sign up to a lot of dating sites to generate traffic. Then, monetize the site w/ ads and possibly affiliate programs.

She can model for stock photos (e.g. business woman, secretary, nurse...) and sell them on those stock photo sites.

If you're not limited to online models, she can just model.

No not me, lol. This isn't one of those TV moments where it's "for a friend".. This really is for someone who knows zero about internet marketing... I can help her with that part of it.. Just wondering a way to maximize her potential with her looks.

I will suggest she start some kind of modelling, snapping stock photos and making videos as a freelancer, beauty tends to be the center of attraction when you are looking for some to create video for you or model your site.

That does remind me... A few couple weeks back, these girls put up a stupid video on your youtube showing videos shot from a camera hidden in their back pocket. Anyway, the video gained incredible traction, was on gizmodo, I think... and they received a ton of subscribers. If the video was not shot by a very attractive girl, then I doubt it would've gained any popularity.

LOL yes, we are all beautiful in God's eyes.. but as you say these are man made words. They are man-made perceptions however wrong they may be, they still very much are real

However, I would agree that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder... it all depends on who you ask! Also, a person that once may not have attracted you can start to become attractive after getting to know their personality and vice versa.. beautiful people can seem very ugly due to their personality.

This. My friends and I always check youtube for make-up tips. It's really helpful to have it shown step by step. Just ask her to make them genuine and have real, useful content.

This is what she can offer to Internet Marketers.

She can make a video about website introduction. Something like we normally see when we open some websites with someone talking on a video without background.. I always find this idea very effective because it is more personalized...

This is definitely a great way to pick up some quick cash. Just browse the various video/photo gigs offered by attractive females on Fiverr, and then model your friend's gigs on those. Some are really popular, and I'd imagine she would be able to pick up some gigs very quickly just doing this alone.

I would suggest you trawl through youtube as there are literally thousands of beautiful women who have their own channels with millions upon millions of views.

Zuzana, mentioned above, from bodyrock.tv is just one example. I do have to mention that Zuzana's blog is an excellent resource for anyone wishing to learn about health & fitness.

There is also the girl who teaches japanese and basically rolls around on the floor, makes numerous dress changes (unseen, of course, gotta keep it clean!), while introducing her "japanese phrase of the day". Therefore, she basically uses here beauty in a provocative manner to entice slobbering guys to her channel. Then I recall the lady who used her youtube channel simply for philosophical chats about politics, religion, etc.

I must admit there is a slice of sales and marketing genius behind many of these "beautiful female" youtube channels, and in all honesty the videos are typically made tongue-in-cheek. However, whether the videos are educational or not, you know for a fact that there will always be droves of guys (and gals) attracted to them.

Yes, there is a woman named Hotalphafemale who has a website and a youtube channel and she is building up a nice following.

She is really unique in her point of views and entertaining, it seems like a good business model. I don't know exactly how she is monetizing because I haven't looked into it too heavily, but it seems as if she is focusing on building her brand for right now. I could definitely see her making BIG money in the future, maybe you can check out what she has going on to pick up a few ideas.

I don't think you sound sexist at all. I'm sure there are ways you can leverage amazing looks to make money faster, but I'm guessing that most of them do at least overlap with or encroach on "adult entertainment" (as the examples above so obviously do).

The question here, surely, is whether the best way for a beautiful female to make money online actually has anything to do with her looks at all. (For example, it could be, for many beautiful females, that the best way is actually as a Clickbank affiliate, using a pen-name, and building up an article-marketing-based business, i.e. it has absolutely nothing to do with her looks at all).

Your supposition that the fact that she's beautiful is relevant, here, may be inaccurate, in other words, and may actually conceal opportunities (i.e. all the opportunities available to "non-beautiful people") rather than displaying them. Hi Robert, for me it has very little, if any, effect at all: I make almost no income in this forum, anyway, and my profile here (and one little 1-page site shown in my sig-file here and nowhere else) are the only places I have online photos. * In all my income-producing, niche marketing sites, I don't even use my own name. So it's barely been relevant to me.

It didn't occur to me, when I set out to make my living online (as it seems to have occurred to the OP about his friend) that my looks would be relevant at all. I think it's a terribly limiting (and limited) perception of one's capabilities and prospects (which was why I posted).

* Edited to add: sorry - not 100% true: I've just remembered, I do have a photo in another forum, too, but it has absolutely nothing to do with my income at all.

I thought you might think that which is partially why I asked to begin with.

It's interesting to me that there can be so many different views and opinions on the same topic when you ask different people, which I realize is a no-brainer. However, with a topic like this which seems to surface occasionally I've often wondered if those that have had their "looks" affect their careers (either positively or negatively) have even noticed it or if they notice it as well as those on the outside looking in...

They'd basically be "modelling", I think? Just for online use rather than offline use of the photos/videos/whatever?

Please don't anyone imagine that I'm suggesting there's anything wrong with that - I'm not at all. All I'm suggesting is that it's very limiting to imagine that because a girl might look hot enough, that's necessarily going to be her best way to make money online. In other words, to re-iterate, the key question is: does she have any other skills apart from looking pretty?

While good looks are definitely an asset, a woman cannot simply build a sustainable career on this alone. Most beautiful women who are successful also have savvy marketing skills. Their looks may be what draws initial attention, but they have skills and/or products to offer that create paying customers.

Having lived in Southern California for many years, trust me when I say "beautiful women are a dime a dozen."

The modeling field is highly competitive and you've got to have something special that stands out from the majority of pretty faces (You can watch an episode of America's Top Model to see how tough it is). Online spokesmodel may not pay that much, and is basically a JOB, not a business.

So, your friend needs to take stock of what skills and knowledge she can bring to the table that can generate money. This may or may not involve her looks.

I'm sorry to have to tell you this....but making money on the internet involves learning internet marketing skills...looks has very little to do with it.

However, if she is interested in selling her looks, be prepare to go the typical route of what that means....

Does she have any skills other than looking pretty? Models get paid for looking pretty, but I don't think it is an easy thing for unknown models to make money on the Internet without resorting to nude photos, etc.

The thing with just looking pretty is, as I alluded to, looking pretty is not a skill. There are sites like therugged.com and others (men sites) that unknown models trying to get noticed for being pretty by submitting their profiles for free. No one is paying them anything just for looking pretty.

To get a gig on a site like Godaddy ... well, the Godaddy girls are already somewhat famous in their own right ... racing, fitness niche, etc.

There's so many sites out there that showcase pretty girls ... the girls do not get paid for this.

Many people employed some black/grey hat tactics trying to capitalize from a pretty face and sexy body by creating thousands of spam profiles on dating sites and promoting cam and adult dating offers. The sites infected with this have largely gotten a lot of that under control.

Skills will go a lot farther in Internet Marketing than a pretty face.

  Loving the round-about way of saying "I know I'm pretty, but..." is being used brilliantly in a tone of (not-so-)false modesty in this thread.
  
  I think if you look in this thread, you will see the 'factors' your freind needs to consider (use to her advantage); she can then work with this in any given direction she wishes to go, but as mentioned, if she doesn't have another skill, 'looking pretty' might just be the thing she needs to do. Now it's up to her to decide where and how she can 'look pretty' in the most time-efficient way.

She could be the face of other peoples' products and services if she wanted to be. If she has good looks, she'll probably be effective for self-branding, even if it's for someone else. Self-branding, particularly with the use of social media, is a powerful thing if you build upon it.

She can do some video gigs for some sales pages. Marketers can sometimes spend up to $20K for sales pages and she can market herself for some videos on there. Also, she can do gigs on Fiverr, like holding a sign up in front of busy intersections.

Along the same lines it made me think of the success story where a women got a Holywood makeup deal by doing a series of youtube videos that shows how you can apply your makeup to look like the stars.

She was so good at it she got a makeup deal to actually work with movie stars.

You can apply the same thing to hairstyles and so on.

Can you imagine how well a blog would do if you were showing different hairstyles with GHD straighteners and then had an affiliate link going through to the store?

That's what I would do anyway if I were a women.

Wow another person that wants fast money!! Lol you should set down with her find what she knows and go from there! Try to make it long term because unless you have a lucky horse shoe you wont be making money fast! You'll have to put in tons of work and trial and error. If you all don't take it serious and make it a real job then you will never make it! Just my two cents!

Never said anything about fast money, just sad the faster the better. Making money online can be 6 months fast or 5 years fast, depending on what type of business you want to go in to.

And again this is not for me, but somebody else. I would help her as far as any internet marketing aspects. Setting up a blog really isn't that hard, could take a week or so.

Really don't even know why this thread has so much attention. I guess it's something that hasn't really been asked before.

But I definitely think their are ways someone can use their beauty as leverage, keyword, leverage... Not a Magic "easy button", but leverage. Same way a beautiful girl can use her looks as leverage on American Idol... Doesn't guarantee the win, but there are ways to make it work for you if you can actually sing.

A pretty girl is just, well...a pretty girl. Sure, if she has the looks then modeling for stock photos, or offering video reviews and such on fiverr could make her some money. Not sure about any long term, sustainable income. But the real question (which Alexa brought out) is whether or not she has any skills aside from simply her looks?

There's no such thing as a free ride. Not even for the beautiful.

Agree with this, but I think 'skill' is more loosely defined when there are good looks involved.

If this girl can read a script/memorize a script, she can do people's youtube vids for them, be their 'spokesperson', give 'honest reviews' of their product, etc.

I do agree with Alexa that it is limiting to lead with one's looks, but there is definitely a use for them. It'll be up to the girl whether she wants to branch out/upscale herself. Good looking people don't get a free ride, but they get a pretty hefty discount rate.

Set up a squeeze page with her on video (or do a youtube video) talking to visitors about whatever product she is offering (make sure it's a niche market that she is passionate about). This will immediately pull subscribers/buying customers into to her list etc.

Video marketing. Guys will watch anything as long as it has a good looking woman in it. If she's good with words, she could go a long way. She can do reviews, etc. and put up videos on YouTube
