Fiverr Gigs will be reviewed (lot of gigs denied)

I am in fiverr for quite some time and happy with the progress.Thanks to fellow warriors for that.
Even a gig which have tons of positive reviews also disabled and they denied all gig submission.Even new gig submission is under approval for many days.I think some thing going on there like Ezines.

    There are too many crooks in the system, ruining the experience for all involved.

    Yea... I bet they should first suspend all the twitter tweets, followers and facebook fanpage gigs, that will clean their house 50% cos all the gigs there are scam. I have bought them like a hundred times with no success, all the providers do is provide a lame screenshot.

      You may be interested in this thread, where I discussed that at length with others.

      I was advising to verify screen shots before agreeing to payment.

      I actually did find people offering twitter tweets and delivering on their promise.

      Success is another measure all together. What do you expect from the tweet, beyond the tweet itself?

      I have avoided the facebook and twitter gigs altogether on Fiverr....they definitely look like scams. Only ones I've bought so far are backlinks, and social bookmarking submissions.

    Why is there always a question about companies trying to improve their user's experience?

    Every change that occurs within these business (EZA, Fiverr, Google, etc) are so they can give their customers more quality.

    If your gig is getting suspended or denied, it's probably a less than stellar service you are providing.

      I've gotten some Fiverr gigs before, some are great and serve a practical purpose such as for example should you need someone to install a facebook like or twitter button to your posts and you don't know how to code.

      While some Fiverr gigs are totally bogus and complete scams or simply just don't work. I agree with the cutting down on twitter tweet gigs and such.

      How stellar do we expect a service to be for five bucks?

      I am a freelancer and I see stuff all day long on freelance boards where the expectations for work and abilities and the expectation for payment for those services are so far out of whack.

      Sadly i also see a buch of poor schmoes lined up trying to get the job.

    well thats good to hear I was about to start outsourcing on fiverr but i been hearing thats scammers paradise but since they are cleaning house i may consider them..i think im going to give them a few weeks to spring clean before i go there for outsourcing

      That is really not good for the site, it fills it up with duplicate listings and looks messy. With the new quality control, maybe there will be less gigs to stand out from

    It isn't just the Twitter gigs and such...its gigs where someone says they will walk around a downtown with a sign with your business on it...now, how is anyone going to verify stuff like that? .. frankly many of the gigs are silly.

      It was a challenge to see exactly how silly people would behave for five bucks.

    When using fiverr all you have to do is look at the feedback! Not just comments like thanks/good job,etc. but comments from the buyers that tell of tangable results!

      That is not always a reliable measure.

      If the buyer does not manually verify that the work is done, bad people are getting good reviews.

    I haven't used Fiverr for a while now although I do check every now and then for new but good gigs to try. I guess they must have been checking for more quality now that there are a lot of fiverr wannabe's/copy cats that are sprouting around the net.

    I was going to make a post on this earlier.

    Are they outlawing backlink gigs, like xRumer and stuff?

    I had a VERY successful gig doing 1000 link profile blasts, 100% positive feedback, tons of completed orders and they just killed it out of the blue a few weeks back. When I emailed support I just get a form letter response saying something along the lines of they are trying to clean-up fiverr... I can't get any serious answers and as far as I'm concerned I'm done with them if this is how they operate.

        A serious answer would involve them telling me why my 4 month old gig is now all of a sudden against the TOS. Or if it is in fact against the TOS (I can't find anything that says it should be). Or at least provide some modicum of an idea as to why it was cancelled since it was providing a service with over 100 completed orders, all positive feedback, making them and myself money... Aside from "we're cleaning up fiverr" that doesn't really tell me much - wouldn't you say?

          "This issue should now be resolved. If the problem persists, please let us know.Sorry for the inconvenience"
          Also reopened all of my gigs.But they strongly tell that moderation will be tough in coming days.

    I've had a lot of success with Fiverr, but only when I pay a lot of attention to the feedback, and ask some questions. I don't always put that much time in, though, and have had a couple of duds. At the end of the day, I try to keep my expectations on par with the cost of the service. A lot of the non-IM gigs are 'useless' too, but can be fun for $5. That said, flat out lies and cheating are never cool.

    That is a nice move from Fiverr so that the quality providers will outshine, and there will be less competition. This is good for both the provider and the buyer.

    I don't think that Fiverr is at the same position with Ezines because Fiverr is already being used by maybe millions of repeat customers and providers. And it is not a content site.

    i am happy they are leaning house - i used xrumer service which managed to link me to sex site plus my profile information to forum sites as part of the xrumer service used name such as dghtrrr!!! how scammy is that!! no effort or thinking was put into this service which should be easy since it is automated
