I`m just finishing my first sales page and I wonder if there is anyway to put "affiliates" button on the bottom of the sales page, so that affiliates can become affiliates directly on my page. Is this possible or do I have to put website on clickbank e.g.? And how to do it, if it is.

I hope you know what I mean

tnx for answers

You need some type of tracking system in place, and if you host your own, your affiliates will have to trust you implicitly.

It would be best to start with a known affiliate platform.

People become affiliates by taking their clickbankid and adding it to your vendor id:

    MYID.YOURID.hop.clickbank.com

You coudl have that be done in a popup lightbox which is triggered when they click the affiliate link.

A form could load in the popup, and then they put in their id, and when they submit the form, their properly formatted hoplink is formed.

You may wish to use Fancybox, for the popup window. EVerybody is using it these days, even for autoresponder box popups...

This would be if you listed your product on clickbank, which i recommed, as trust is an issue for self-made affiliate programs.

And if you made your own, you would have to develop tracking system, as stated above. Cooie expiry times and the like.

      Best to start simple...

      Ciao.

    Hi
As stated above one of the big things with getting affiliate to promote your product is them having trust in you and knowing they will be paid for their work..you can get scripts that you run on your own but until you have a name they know and trust it may be better to stay with clickbank or paydotcom
