What are some popular blogs for newbies?

They don't need to be the best, so please share any that you know of. I am primarily interested in places that I can guest blog.

Thanks in advance.

Theres no way you're going to be able to guest blog for the "best" IM blogs, especially if you're not already "known". Thats just what I feel about it.

Well, I guess regardless of what my intents are, what would be the top IM blogs for newbies out there?

  • I don't actually think that IM blogs are that well suited for newbies.

Most of the high quality blogs will be aiming slightly above the newbie level. A lot of the newbie blogs are really just excuses to reuse PLR articles (and newbies will get far better value from low cost private or group coaching, perhaps linked to paid accountability blogs).

For guest blogging opportunities, I'd suggest building a small network with marketers of a similar experience level. Good guest bloggers do get noticed, and this can feed into positions with the top level IM blogs.

That's a great observation, Thom. I'm really just interested in newbie blogs that have strong readership. I'll modify my original post to reflect this. Can you recommend any?

      Thanks.

You can quickly find blogs that offer guest blogging by running your own search in Google.

Use queries like "inurl:guest blogging", "inurl:guest-blogging-guidelines", or "inurl: contributors needed" and you'll find a ton of places to start with.

If you want to find guest blogging in a specific niche market, just use the 'inurl' search string but include your keyword like this: "inurl your keyword+guest bloggers", etc.

And here are a few sites that have compiled listings of places known to accept guest bloggers (various niches):

However, I would be better if you start by defining what type of information you need, it might SEO, paid marketing, html, programming....etc.
