Don't you find Deamhost's addons annoying?

I am working on a customer's website hosted with dreamhost and I am surprised with its addons. Rigght after I installed a wordpress, it automatically loaded more than a dozen of themes. I find it annoying because it's hard to find my installed theme... There are also lots of plugins not familiar to me....

Do you use dreamhost? Do you find it annoying?

    No, I don't find THAT annoying. I just use the scroll feature to find the themes I have added. They add those because a lot of people use them and newbies would have no idea where to start. I know, because I was new to both DreamHost and WordPress very recently.

    What I DO find annoying is their general layout. I personally find it very counter-intuitive, cluttered and difficult to navigate.

    Every time I use their custom control panel, I wonder if HostGator's is better.

      I agree... I started using cpanel since 2005 and dreamhost is one of the worst unfriendly interface..

      Worst hosting interface I ever tried was Plesk of registerfly.com (circa 2004)
