Pitfalls of IM

Hey everyone,

Just got to thinking about the pitfalls of IM and wanted to bounce them off of you all to see if I am missing anything.

Here they are.
analysis paralysis
lack of motivation
lack of taking action
information overload
believing in get rich quick scams(Thanks Adie)

        EVERYWHERE it takes money to make money; especially if you abstract money to include your own personal time...

        I've spent probably a few hundred hours the last few months learning about IM, building products, writing (and getting better at writing) at an hourly rate that is much lower than my old job... But it's an investment of a short-term loss of time for a long-term gain of money and freedom.

        That is possible but needs a lot of time investment. I started 2002 without even having my own PC. I purchased my first desktop PC last 2004 from my online earnings..

        There are too many ways to earn money online without spending but these people always wanted shortcuts...

        You can always see threads like "how to make money fast, what is the best way of making money fast, what is the easiest blah, how to get traffic blah.. etc" without browsing the board..

    This is all very true. I wasted about a year and a half trying to study and learn all that I could and realized I was fitting into the analysis paralysis category.

    Now am on track to hopefully release two products within the month. Am also reviewing purchased courses on my website to hopefully allow others looking at the same course a glimpse into whether or not they want to truly buy or not.

    Am also starting to slowly(1 subscriber a day) to build a list...

    That is true. If you dont have the money then expect to pay in the form of time. If you have the money then you can use it to speed up the process quite a bit.
