Hi,
I'm humbly asking you for your expert opinion, since there are many people here with lots of experience.

Anyway what I'm selling is a camera dolly (Camera dolly - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). I'm not just reselling this I'm actually producing this.
I am based in European Union.

Please help me choose the right affiliate network (or more of them if that's even possible) or choose the right affiliate software for the affiliate »game«.
Now Commission Junction is obviously not a an option at this point since you have to have $50,000 of monthly sales to join. I am not there yet as I'm just starting out.

All your help and suggestions will be much much appreciated!

Thanks

Clickbank is a virtual marketplace anyway, not for physical products which I think is what you are trying to sell here?

Affiliate networks are mainly for virtual products, but some interesting networks that I haven't heard of myself may come up.

Some of your choices for physical products, besides CJ:

    - ShareASale (smaller than CJ, but costs less and has a lower min monthly sales requirement)
    - LinkShare (bigger than SaS, but may be more difficult to get approved)
    - PepperJam network (I don't know much about it, but it has some big name merchants)
    - Google Affiliate Network
    - Amazon Marketplace

I'm not a US resident, but live in the you the European Union - that might be an issue with some of those.
The last time I checked,... I know Google checkout was unavailable for non-US residents,... I'm not sure how it is with Google affiliate network.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll definitely check those out.

You seem to have forgotten to ask the more important question, which in this case would be; do I want to run my own affiliate program on my own network (which is what I figured you meant by affiliate software) and by doing so cut out the additional commission taken by the affiliate network, or do you want to place your product on an already existent affiliate network and have to pay the additional commission, but harness the leverage of their affiliate base?

    Once you figure that out, here's a list of options for you;

Affiliate networks; ShareASale, LinkShare, PepperJam (all outside the EU), or Zanox, AffiliateWindow, TradeDoubler, Buy.at (all within the EU, I believe).

Affiliate software; HasOffers (monthly payment plans, great for starting out, easy to use), iDevAffiliate (various license prices), DirectTrack (high-end affiliate software by Digital River, seemingly more expensive than the rest).

Well , by not being an English native speaker, I might have put this awkwardly,... But that is what I thought I was asking actually.
The title says: affiliate network or software
So what you're pointing out is exactly what I am asking.

Therefore I'm trying to figure out what are the best affiliate networks for a product such as mine. What are the benefits the pros and cons.

      on the other hand

Which of the affiliate software programs that I run on my own network and do just that - cut out the additional commission taken by the affiliate network.
What are the pros and cons?

I've come across this program called Jrox. Is there any good?

I've also come across a link with supposedly all (but I'm guessing it's more like almost all) affiliate networks and affiliate software:
Affiliate Software Database - Listings of Affiliate Software Products - Affiliate Tracking Systems and Network Review Listings (this is probably also someone's affiliate link)

Can you sell it on Amazon? Then anyone with an Associates account can make affiliate sales. In addition you get the traffic of people browsing Amazon looking for a camera dolly.
