Hi all,

Just had a quick couple of questions regarding using 2CO for WSOs.

1) 2CO can be used to sell WSOs (or to sell on forums in general), correct? I've searched around on the forum and from what I can tell it can be but I just wanted to get some "up to date" info to be sure. If anyone is currently using 2CO to sell WSOs I'd like confirmation of this if I could get it.

2) If the above is true, and you can use 2CO for WSOs, does each WSO have to have its own website set up in order to sell through 2CO? In other words, is it like Clickbank where you have to have a site for each WSO or is it more like Paypal where you can simply put a "Buy Now" button in the WSO thread and sell a PDF by itself with no website associated with it?

Any other comments regarding 2CO are welcome. I haven't decided to go with them yet but they're looking like a good choice so far.

Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure it's like PayPal where you simply link to a 2CO hosted check-out page. Why are you choosing to go with 2CO instead of PayPal anyway?

When you set up your product in 2CO you will get a payment link, just like you do with Paypal. You can put that link in your WSO.

I use 2CO but usually I do send customers to my website and not put the payment link directly on the WSO, but I see no reason why you couldn't do that.

They get all pissy when you put the URL on the forum, in fact I had my account "WARNED" and the URL on the account changed to "WarriorForum.com" and was ACCUSED By them of OWNING the warrior forum.

They essentially told me you can only sell from one site..

Caleb is correct, they insist on one account per domain. They are a good service but that kind kills it for forums.

Maybe you could just link the buy link to your own domain (listed with2co) and then youvshould be good to go.

One more click for your buyers though.

      All success,

As well, there customer support is not very good, and is a group of confused people, so I wouldn't use them for a WSO... They've also removed my account, and don't respect Canadian Corporations.

And to add to that, after yelling at me on the phone because a corporate director was 16, and telling me that they were closing my account "no matter what I do", they proceeded to call me back and tell me that "OH, there was a solution", even tho they lied to me over the phone and said there wasn't.. Funny how things change after they find out who I am..

And of course, I was not willing to work with them

You can sell multiple products with one account but only one domain is allowed per account.

Setup a quick sale page on your domain with 2checkout button for you WSO then direct users to the sale page to make purchase.

Let me correct my comments here. I have nothing against the company. However, I do have a problem with the way that I felt I was treated, and with the mis communication. I also feel that there corporate policies are off base, and not the way that merchant services should be.

Here's an idea. Could you post the link on a page on your website and then iframe the button on the warrior forum? That way, I think the referrer would still show as being from your website. Is this against their terms of service? I couldn't find anything stating this.

No, you can't put an iframe in a forum thread.

HOWEVER... you could probably use a redirect through a URL shortening script.
