What's Hardest To Accept About I.M

There's a lot of myths, half-truths and out-right lies that plague internet marketing. What fact did you find hardest to accept about internet marketing, now that you know better? Thanks for sharing.

Personally, the hardest thing for me to accept was ...
"It always takes more money and time than the sales letters claimed to make it work ... If it works at all." That took me a few years and thousands of dollars to learn. (Ouch!)

What was the hardest fact for you to finally accept about internet marketing?

Hey, I agree with you...everything takes longer than most sales pages seem to indicate! The biggest breakthrough for me was in building my own list, finding out what the list wanted, then sell them what they wanted...instead of just trying to find something to sell, and hunting for buyers :-)

The hardest to accept was actually the fact that there are no miracle push button softwares that will earn money for you while you sleep. While I still believe that you can earn money while you sleep you need to spend many sleepless nights before you reach that!

P.S. I asked for a refund for all the "push button" miracle softwares

Understanding that should you choose this you will work, longer and harder than your contemporaries holding a "safe" job. Understanding that there is ALWAYS something new to learn everyday. You can never know everything and must be willing to "go back to white belt," many times to learn new things.

Hardest thing for me to learn was how to organize and categorize all the stinkin' information I was so addicted to downloading constantly. Trying to find specific information again was like trying to find a needle in a stack of needles on my computer. It was horrible for quite awhile and I probably lost more good pdfs in the mess then I saved.

The above and also how to stick with one aspect of marketing. Truthfully though, once I got all the ebooks, courses, videos etc organized it was much easier to focus on one thing at a time. lol, funny how that works.

Amazing...And Gavin...I even learned something new today...that's one
helluva lightbulb moment because, I backed off from building a list or
targeting a list of buyers BECAUSE of the same reason...it seemed to
      easy.

The hardest thing for me to accept...

was that MARKETING & SALES is ALL that matters.

You can be the BEST product creator, BEST article writer, BEST graphic
      designer, BEST anything...

but if you can't MARKET or SELL what you have to offer, you won't make
money. Period. People just won't randomly come to you. You have to go
out there and ASK for the business and do certain things to EARN peoples
      trust to EARN more money.

It's difficult to grasp because, all your life you're told selling is "bad". But,
it actually benefits other people because if you can show you can solve
THEIR problems...and you give them the solution to do so...it's wrong NOT
      to tell people about it.

The hardest part for me to accept was: "I need to keep the ball rolling slowly". I always want to do everything quick by working hard, but now I work less but every day

The hardest fact for me to realize about Internet Marketing
was that it's much easier to get results by focusing on
    actucally DOING the fundamentals.

It took me a while to click that most Guru Launch products
are an expensive, hyped-up and unnecessary sideshow that
get in the way of me building my business.

Once you realize that you just need to focus on applying
the proven fundamentals, Internet Marketing becomes
    much easier.

Most people take the 'easy' route by continuing to buy 'new'
product after 'new' product without applying much of what
    they've learned inbetween.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

    Shaun
