Wordpress Posts Problem

Any WordPress experts out there I hope you can help me.

In my WP dashboard, everything works fine (I can publish new posts, etc), except when I click on Posts to see the list of all of my posts, it gives me an "error 500 internal server error."

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Whenever I receive the "500 error" I usually refresh the page several times or logout as it can be a server issue. Also, did you update or change any of your plugins? Another good reason to install the wp-backup plugin.

It's a server issue I am currently experiencing with a customer's site hosted with Dreamhost.. I never experienced such problem with all my webhosts installing hundreds of wordpress blogs since then...

This is a generic "something went wrong with the server" message. It could be absolutely anything.

If you have recently added, or updated plugins, i would suggest you try disabling them as a test to start with.

Also i found on one of my sites, a "related posts" plugin died after there was around 5000 posts on the site (it was a wordpress article directory). If you have plugins related to your posts (like the related posts plugin example), try disabling them one by one, to see if it gets fixed.

It would be something to do with your posts - Either way to many (would be a few thousand at least depending on your hosting) or some plugins going wrong.

There might be something wrong with your htaccess file. Don't do anything yourself. contact your host regarding the problem.

There is no rocket science about this..It simply means

    "Premature end of script headers"

...means your script is being killed due to memory overload.

It is a common issue with Dreamhost, try increasing the memory limit in your wp-config file..
