What's the most money you have made on Fiverr?

Hi there Warriors.

I have recently started doing gigs on Fiverr in the hope to try and make as much money as possible. So far I have done a fair few and have generated some modest amounts. I was just curious if anyone else has had some success of Fiverr and if so how much have they been making?

Baz.

What was that doing if you don't mind me asking? I am currently offering Video Creation services.

If I recall correctly, the most I made was around $150 in a day. But it wasn't as a person doing gigs in Fiverr. I was hiring people to do a service that I charged elsewhere.

Unless you're really desperate for cash or have a good backend, I would use use other freelance websites which you can charge a lot more for.

I'm not a fiverr guru, but it helps me keep up with my subscriptions and currently it is the "backbone" of my future projects, since it's very handy to have money delivered straight to paypal.

  • At the moment I am currently offering my services in video creation and graphic design, i.e creating a video for customers website or YouTube channel and designing static and flash headers. The video side is bringing in some money but I was looking for other way's in which to bring in more in one day. I would say I am getting between 2-3 orders a day on the video side.

I do not see the point in selling my time for $5 a pop. I have however spent a lot of money on Fivver. It is a great place to get cheap work done.

maybe you should understand the difference between "cheap" and "quality"-
or do you think your time is so precious and everyone else is wasting their time?!!!

$5 is not fixed, Madam, U start with $5. Expertise will be paid more by the hiring manager.

I thought the same as you...But I found that there are lots of people making a killing otherwise Fiverr would not be a 13 million dollar a year outfit. You just have to adapt Fiverr to your reality. I think it is mainly suited to do work when you are part of an outfit or can develop strategies and gigs that are not time consuming but automated and good. For that I feel it must be done well and intelligently strategizing...I left the idea behind but I will be doing it soon. I will let you know what and how it goes.

I've made over 3 thousand dolloars this past 4 months. Not bad at all because i don't spend more than an hour a day on my fiverr orders.

I rank videos, therefore i set ANY PRICE i want! I have one buyer pay $185 once for a first Page Google Ranking.

No intentions on going full time though. I'm outsourcing the gig soon.

Fiverr is JUST ALRIGHT for me....nothing special!

I'm making, on average, $48 bucks a day or so with Fiverr. And the Gig I run only takes me about 3-4 minutes to create, finish, and deliver.

Fiverr has its purposes - but yes, my time is precious and I don't work for $5. What others do is up to them.

See everyone recommends going on other Freelance sites but I just hate the fact that you have to bid for work and the lowest bid get's the job regardless of how poor the work is.
That's self limiting. You have drawn incorrect conclusions. If you make the effort to position yourself well on freelance sites, you can earn substantially more than you will ever earn with Fiverr. Or you can say "won't work" and get jobs only from Fiverr and earn $4 net for each job.

Fiverr works well if you have a product/service that is automated, you can churn jobs through quickly or get repeat sales - or convert customers to higher paying work. If you look at Fiverr as a "career", you're choosing a minimum wage job.

I think Fiverr can be okay if you have small projects that are quick or you have a large following on there where you are getting lots of traffic. I don't really know the keys to getting the traffic on there.

But, it may be a great supplemental thing to do, especially if you enjoy the projects and they can be done in less than 15 minutes or so.

Three to Five minutes for $5 is a great deal. It usually take me more than half an hour to do each gig. I got to find a way to be more efficient though.

Sounds brilliant. How do you upsell? How do you find a way to send out your communication details without violating Fiverr ToS?

This is the best way. Looks like you are spending 48 minutes to earn your 48 daily bucks. What kind of gigs do you run?

Same here - surely the very fact that you are sending out personal details violates the Fiverr ToS and puts your account to risk?

I only have a couple gigs on fiverr. I've made $20 (over a period of MONTHS) editing PDF files.

I've heard that more people are using it for list building, upselling and maybe link backs. So, it will probably get pretty "trashy" soon.

Anyone had any luck with a Fiverr sending out to their Twitter list for creating your own list or selling a CB product etc...I have seen a couple on there with around 10,000 followers they will Tweet out to for $5. I just don't have much faith in those twitter list, not to mention they probably get hammered several times a day from these guys...I don't know... anyone with any experiences?....

i made $200 so far starting from mid feburary, I started with video creation too but find that its time consuming and not worth the 5 and thus offer a few more gigs which i can complete in 15min. fiverr is good to starting making small money online but should not be a long term thingy

Wow - you've figured it out. When I reverse engineered Fiverr fees I realized if I offered any gigs there I'd be losing money if I spent more than 7 minutes on each job - including admin time. I wish I had something I could do that quickly - but I don't.

I made about $30 writing articles. Bit of a waste of my time tbh.

If the article is something you're familiar with, then you can get it done quick, if it's a difficult topic, then can take almost an hour. Really not worth it.

I would never want a contract because I was the lowest bidder. That is just asking for trouble. I like the ones that are willing to pay for and to wait for my services.
One needs to go into their work as "the client is lucky to get you". There is a lot to be said about the "laws of attraction". Expect the Kmart shoppers and that is what you get. Along with all of the "get whatever possible for free" items that are always present in the budget shopper's minds.
Going for the high end, Michigan Avenue shoppers, and making them feel they are lucky to have you, is the key. Playing "hard to get" works more than just in love relationships.

I see fiverr as being for digital product sales and lead gathering. Not a road to riches.

I read some stuff on fiverr the other day and it actually piqued my interest...I'd be curious to learn what you guys are doing in less than 5 minutes...But I also understand if that's Fiverr trade secret

The thing I've been struggling is getting the ball rolling, so to speak, on my gigs. How do you promote them to get those first few sales / reviews?

I don't make any money from Fiverr, but I can see that there is definitely money to be made by just hiring people on Fiverr for $5 and offering that same service on your own site for more.

Only problem is you can't really be sure if they'll be around for long because people on Fiverr tend to cancel their gigs after some time..

First, I am happy that this thread is alive again, considering that the last comment before @Rugi is 2 years and 3 months ago. This means that Fiverr is very controversial.

I joined Fiverr 2 months ago, and I am offering writing jobs. Others may say that a $5-service is "cheap" and "low quality," and it could be true in some cases.

But for me, it is a stepping stone to improve my craft and get regular clients...and I am somehow successful. Now, there are clients who are willing to pay me more than $5

the most I've made was $25 a day on fiverr, but considering there are a ton of article writers on there I'm not so shocked. Since I am new to freelance writing I made my start on fiverr, probably not a wise move since orders aren't frequent. About a month in though they got better and I at least became a level 1 seller.
