Having a schedule makes things a lot easier and you are more effective when you have everything written down. You will do your daily work much faster when you are not surfing on useless sites or playing games online when you should be working.

This is the schedule that I follow.I have tried every single marketing method there is and trough trial and error I have developed this, it works for me.

Monday: A new blog post, 10 relevant/useful comments on blogs, and 10 relevant/useful forum posts.

Tuesday: Social media marketing, going out to blogs and look for interesting posts to send to social sites using socialmarker.

Wednesday: A new blog post, 10 comments on blogs, and 10 forum posts.

Thursday: Research day, researching for hot topics to write about.10 comments on blogs and 10 forum posts.

Friday: A new blog post, 10 comments on blogs and 10 forum posts.

Saturday and Sunday: I work if I feel like working.

What kind of schedule do you have?

    Buddy!

If you need a schedule, you are in for a job...

Businesmen / women have plans for their days... And then a weekly plan, and a monthly plan.. you get the idea... So NO I do not have a schedule... I work whenever I want to.

      Damn right.

Determining what you do on any given day based on your goal(s) is the way to go. Limiting yourself to a pre-determined schedule is self-sabotage.

I know what needs to get done each day, once I've accomplished it I go to bed. No set schedule as to when or how, just as long as I do it, I'm happy.

While a schedule may not be for all, some may need it to keep on track. Some may even need the discipline.

Here's what Steven Wagenheim wrote in another post:

Seems like a schedule to me.

The big thing with working for your self is that you allow flexibility to make changes and adjustments to what YOU do as the need arises. When you work for someone else, you don't have that. Do what works for you.

I will say this. Ask someone who provides a service or has a new product launch coming up. I gaurantee you they will have some kind of schedule they follow. I do a lot of service work and if I didn't have some kind of schedule, I would never complete things on time.

    Thanks,

    John

Steven himself confesses that he could be making much more money with much lesser effort, and I am sure he is right.

He has a schedule, which requires him to put in 10 hours a day... i respect him for his achievements, but I'd never work over 10 hours a week.

That's who IO am as a business man. Of course I do have a schedule when it comes to helping other people... for instance teaching poor students Physcis... that's what I do everyday... At least an hour.

Doesn't give me a lot of money... gives me a lot of satisfaction. In the IM game, I am here to make moeny and help people at the same time.

I have a very regimented marketing schedule. Half the week goes to project set-up. The other half goes toward marketing & promotions.

I have a 30 day marketing plan for each of my blogs. I distribute it to my VAs and I use it too. So yes, I have a schedule.
