Referring New Members To The WF Question

Warriors,

I know how to refer people to the home page with my referrer ID, but what if I want to lead them to a specific thread and THEN if they sign up, it will count as a referral?

Do I just place ?referrerID at the end of the full URL?

indirectly, if you're marketing here, more potential sales.

    Notoriety and self-satisfaction. LOL

    That's about it, I think.

Every day I check the obituaries. If I don't see my name there, then I know it's going to be a good day!

    Allen,

When you are viewing the thread, click on the top menu item Thread Tools and then Email this Page. It will bring up a rough email, that will include the URL with your referrid. Like for this page (and MY referrid), it is:

Referring New Members To The WF Question --- oh, hmm.... it automatically translated this to a link. Let me say it's http - colon - slash - slash - www - warriorforum.com/showthread.php?t=35177&referrerid=75374

I guess once you know that is the format, you can create them yourself.

In terms of what you gain, I'm guessing that there may be a slight increase in credibility if you are very high on referrals, which MIGHT translate into people being a bit more likely to purchase from you. Guess, we'd have to get some referrals going, to put that theory to the test.

Actually I just realized that I don't know the other half, which is how do I refer someone directly to the home page?

I have been sending all my customers, that need support, to Allen's help desk. I will be coming out with a wso on how you too can minimize your support.

I may get deleted for this one. hehe

I keep forgetting about my link when I talk about the Warrior Forum in other places. My personal opinion is that the Warrior Forum is the best there is and when it comes up, I say something about it. Only one time did I remember that I have a link to refer people, lol.

In case you want an easier way of finding it...

Click on USER CP > User Control Panel (yes,
the one in the red bar).

You'll find your "affiliate" link there
