Matt, I can so relate. This is the first year we are not going to have to skimp on presents for the kids. I totally love it!!!

Way to go, Shay!

I've been on this forum for a while, and I've always found it fascinating to watch people come and go.

Some people blast onto this forum, talk big and then fade away (often when they realize their mouth can't keep up with bank account).

Others come onto this forum as newbies, make excuses as to why they can't be successful... and then either fade away, or spend months and years blaming everyone and everything else for their lack of success.

Then there are folks like you. You come on, you're serious, you apply the good advice, and you put your head down and get to work. Now look at where you are just a few short months later. That's awesome.

I'm so happy for you. Personally though, I still have sandwich nights etc. Just goes to show how lazy I am when it comes to being bothered to prepare a proper meal for myself.

I'd also like to echo your sentiments of thanking the members of this forum. A great source of advice and knowledge that we can all leach off of. They really have been a great help.

Congrats to you BOTH!! You have done a great job - but having a supportive partner is a HUGE part of the battle. I was lucky enough to already be established when I married the second time, but as we all know - many partners are NOT so understanding about the time and effort these "OVERNIGHT" successes can take!

  I started with writing for clients (which I still do - love it!). But now I have started doing more things. I develop info products and use my blogs to sell them. I am also branching out into article marketing and affiliate products.

I'm a newbie and yours is the first post I've read and thanks for the advice. I will stick around and get some ideas. We are really excited about the extra help I've been bringing in too. We have 4 children, one with autism and we have refused to take the government's money to help us out. Well....anybody with a special needs child knows that's almost impossible, but hopefully it's not all that impossible. But we do have a lot of bills to pay that most would never dream of.

So glad I found this forum to give me a boost and in the process, help others out too. Thanks!
