Attend Local IM Meetups?

Does anyone regularly attend meetups with fellow IM'ers?

Through some online research, I found that my city has a group of local IM'ers who meet once a month. I'm serious about learning this industry, and all the facets about it that will make me successful - would it be beneficial for me to go to a meetup?

    Meet ups are great! It's always good to be able to meet people in the industry. You can easily make JV deals and friends doing so.

    Yes, actually Las Vegas and a few Internet Marketing Meetup Groups. As probably some of the larger cities will too.
