Domain Age Question
I have two domains, both geared at the same niche.
One domain is 3 years old, one domain is 3 months old.
Niether domains have a significant amount of SEO done on them, they don't rank for the specific KW's I'm going to target.
I'm getting ready to launch a new product that is within the niche. The new domain name, is the actual product name which is why I created, but now I'm thinking maybe Ishould just use the old domain since it is already "established" in googles eyes?
So, should I launch on the new domain (3 month) or the 3yr old domain.
I plan on doing a ton of SEO backlinking to start ranking it up.. which would be best for SERP purposes?
I've heard that 2weeks seems to be the threshhold of "new" vs "established" but I'm not sure if that's true, or just people throwing number out there.
What do you think?
Thanks!
