Hi,

Was just wondering if outsourcing always return a totally unique article, with your certain keywords scattered through it, or do the outsourcers just spin old articles ?

And when outsourcing, usually how many keywords would you recommend to be scattered through the artilcle, and how many characters in the article ?

And where would you say is the best place to get your outsourcing done ?

Quality depends on the type of writer you are hiring...

When a customer gives me instruction to have 3 to 4% density, I always suggest him to lower it and make only 1 keyword in the first and last sentences, and one in each paragraph....

Most of the time I've gotten unique articles written. One time however, this writer took an exact article he found on the internet and sent it to me. How do I know this? It was an article I had written!

Can you check the articles before paying the writer ?

Cause we could then check it on copyscape before paying !

Of course you can.. It depends on your agreement... But if the offer is prepay, I don't think you can do that... Lay your rules before ordering...

If you're paying for custom content, than you should receive an article that is totally unique - and also get the rights to it. For my clients, as soon as they've paid, the article is theirs to do whatever they want with it.

As for keywords, 3-4 usually works best. If you have too many, it becomes too difficult to fit all of them in naturally. Remember, your #1 goal is to publish SEO content that is interesting and informative to readers. You can't do that if you're shoving keywords in all over the place.

As for an article length, there is no "magic" length. It depends on your topic. Again, everything is based on giving your readers the very best content. Some topics lend themselves nicely to longer articles, while others can only be compelling for 400 or 500 words. Your goal should be for readers to read the entire article (which they won't do if your article is long to the point of boring/redundant), and for them to finish feeling like they've learned something new (which is darn near impossible to do in 200 or 300 words).

I'm right inline with what Nicole says here. I do the same for all of my writing clients as well. There is no cutting corners when it comes to unique, well-written articles.

Remember - you get what you pay for. Those out there lowballing rates and offering super quick turnaround times should make you raise an eyebrow. I'm not directly saying that EVERYONE who offers low rates and quick turnaround times is deceitful (as some people have teams of writers who do the work for them), but those who are in for a quick buck and more of a "fly by nighter" are the one's to look out for.

A reputable content provider would never try to spin some existing content, but you should always do your due diligence first.

In addition, your keyword density should be around 1-2%, meaning your keyword is in the article 5-10 times if it is 500 words. Of course, a good writer will fit the keyword in naturally and not make it look "forced" or unnatural - it has to be seamlessly woven into the article.
