"get ex back" products and other DOMINATING NICHES.

So I have a question about certain mass dominating niches..

Why are there so many different products made for a niche like that when there are a limited amount of keywords that are already dominated?

Ya see, I scan new products frequently. I have found "a ton" of products for getting your ex back the past year (for instance)..

Now I now alot of people in the world want their ex back so there are a lot of keywords. but why would someone make a product about getting your ex back when there are already literally hundreds??

Aren't the keywords already dominated in that niche already?? wheres the money to be made?

I have the same question about fat loss products and make money products.

Aren't the keywords already a packed house..? How do these products keep selling? why do people keep writing articles and creating products about six pack abs when Google is filled with them already??

Wheres that money?? ANYONE GET WHAT i'M ASKIN HERE??

There is a simple answer for your question I believe.

    There's a DEMAND for it.

The world will always have fat people and breakups. (no offence intended to fat people or breakup-ees)

I believe they are reffered to as 'evergreen' niches. People create products in these niches because they work. A small portion of the new products may also be revamped products who have outrun their used by date or "hotness".

    Hope that helped,

    Dave

Thanks Dave but what I'm confused about is how they find a way to get to the end user. If 60 products have come out the past year about six pack abs, is there still room on keywords like "how to get a six pack" to promote...

In internet marketing isn't the primary route to post stuff under keywords..? Like when I search for long tail keywords I don't necessarily find that many that aren't already highly competed for.. I really have to dig, and that's not even necessarily in the big niches.. So how do people keep making money (or decide to make new six pack products) when google has already filled in the keyword cracks with articles and prominent websites??

I might not be understanding keyword competition in net marketing properly..

        No... I take your point.

If I was the creator of product 56 out of 60, what is the likelyhood of brish promotion and sales of myproduct.

Really to succeed you would have had to be in possession of existing distribution channels. Affiliates list, jv partners etc.

I can't imagine how hard it might be to penetrate with a mee-to product, no matter how dated the existing ones are.

        One simple word - affiliates.

That's kind of a narrow minded way of thinking isn't it?

Google search isn't the only way to reach potential customers.

But to answer your question, exact search, phrase search and broad search is just an estimate of maybe 50-60% of the traffic that actually comes in. The rest are made up of super long keywords that no one could ever think of.

I know people like my boyfriend types in the most ridiculous phrases to search for the most basic information. 90% of internet users are not research experts, and will type phrases no one can think of.

People create products in mass niches because there's so much traffic (more than Google tells you) that even if you can reach a small portion of that traffic it is still extremely profitable.

It is not hard to penetrate the market actually, you'd be surprised how many of the "competition" are only doing a halfassed job to rank and make sales. You can always do a whole lot more to dominate them very quickly.

This is a very good point. Many people consider the added total of monthly searches for their main keyword as the ceiling. The fact is that a huge amount of your traffic will come from things you'd never even consider.

From frequently checking my google analytics I come across searches people have entered to find my site like "Please find all ricecookers with a pre timer option".

That's why I also like to go for long posts on my sites. The more content you have the higher the number of these kinds of searches you'll capture.

It's always nice when people use manners with google :p

Good point vyliss, there are many ways that a visitor can arrive at your site.

Long tail keywords and EMD's (exact match domains) also help in getting those hits.

This is absolutely right. I find that a lot of people search using extremely long phrases. Probably 40% of my search traffic is because of it.

Its not the product, its the system a vendor create to sell his products. The product need to be of high quality too. More powerful the system is more demand and more sales.
Take it this way. You may make the best burger in the world, but you cant compete with McDonalds unless you have a powerful system to overshadow them.

You don't have to dominate keywords in the search engines to compete effectively in those niches. For quite a number of years now, I've been making a killing in some of the most hotly competitve niches by writing articles. Until recently, none of my sites ever ranked closer than 10,000 or more from the top. Sales came almost exclusively from my articles submitted strategically to highly targeted outlets.
