Hi guys

First post so hell to everyone.

Am just starting to write a blog and want to share some of my content in certain places online. The only thing that concerns me is being penalized for duplicate content. How to get around this if Im sharing my blog content in other places...???

First post the content in your blog then share content with the reference of your blog url so it will not count as a duplicate content it will count in article syndication.

Post your content on your blog first...get it indexed... Then spread it around.

Employ a writer to provide original content on your behalf. Open a Copyscape account to check for originality when articles are delivered. You end up with better content that attracts more site visitors, you won't get hammered by Google and it won't be reproduced elsewhere without your consent.

      That's my theory anyway.

I wish that was true. In a way its true that nobody will knock on your door and deliver a penalty note if you used same article to all your web properties.

What will happen is that your content will be lot less effective in getting you ranked with SE's. In terms of getting human visitors to read and click on your links, it doesn;t matter how many times you used the same stuff.

Duplicate content is not a worry if you know ways of bringing traffic that DONOT use search engines.

      My tuppence!

There is no such thing as dupicate penalty, unless you have duplicate copies on your own website pages. My articles are syndicated to over 23,000 websites, blogs, and targeted ezines. Never been a problem.

Besides, if there were such a penalty, all the syndicated news services such as AP, Reuters, etc would be severly crippled. Their articles are replicated to hundreds of millions of sites.
