Who here owns a NON-IM related Forum

Hey Guys,

I was wondering who here owns a NON-IM related Forum. I need to create a few for a bunch of niches because i think it will help me connect with my customer more and I would love to see what you guys did with yours.

    I actually just shut mine done as I move over to vBulletin. I was using bbphp or something like that and the forum was getting slammed with spam. I have around 300 active members and just over 6k registered.

    get vbulletin and the vbseo plugin for sure.used to run a local boxing forum with around 5000 members.the biggest problem would be to get the forum going.its a catch 22 situation often.no one posts in a dead forum but you need posts for others to post too.

    i did lots of offline networking,covering events,etc,etc promoting with t shirts with the forum url etc etc to get the forum going,along with some paid posters to start off.

      Hey, I just saw this and wondering if these are on WordPress or not. I'm looking for a forum to put on my site, but I can't log on to check at the moment.
