How to advertise or monetize a "Couponing / Freebie Mom Blog"?

Okay, maybe this is the wrong forum for this thread, and if so I apologize because I am a "newbie" to this forum & to IM in general. I have a "Couponing / Freebie Mom Blog" and am wondering if anyone has ideas on how to advertise or monetize it? It's been online for a couple years and I would like to be able to reach more moms and increase my income from the blog, but just not sure how to do this.

I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question or not appropriate for this forum. Thank you in advance for any ideas.

  • check cpa networks for free trial offers.

    often times there are really neat free downloads like grocery list tools, free product sample signups, free toolbars, and stuff like that...

    think like this...

    what sorts of things are given away in newspapers and magazines... ever get shampoo samples, or perfume samples...

    well those companies are paying a ton to put that stuff in there...

    and online you can find them at various cpa networks :-)

    • Using affiliate links for many of your coupon codes that you offer is the easiest way. Sign up to the various networks that offer them. Scour the net to find places you can affiliate with and offer a coupon - like Hostgator will enable you to give a coupon to your readers.

      I'd also recommend affiliating with some coupon services, like TheCouponMaster.com, and perhaps Alice.com.

      When you post an Amazon Friday sale, make sure you use your affiliate link.
  • How many unique visitors are you receiving each month? If 10k or more, consider selling advertising space.
  • If you want to reach more moms, then advertise with cpc or facebook ads.
  • what cpa networks would you recommend?

    there are about 50K - 100K unique visitors a month. you mentioned selling advertising space. how do i know how much to charge, and do i just do this on our site, or elsewhere?
  • also what are CPC ads, and how would i advertise with them?
