Incredible! I've seen the same pattern where you promote information
about how to make money using X by using X. This strategy is a sure winner.

For example, you blog about making money using blog by making money
using blog. I've seen the same thing with social networks where the
most popular pages are about the network itself.

Now I need to go write a product on how to use the Warrior Forum

Awesome, and I am finding the same thing. The more genuine and real I am to my own passions and interests, the more people are drawn to what I am doing. You still have to put a spin on your content for SEO and good marketing practice, but you have be real and just blog about what is real to you and what people could learn from.

I am almost envious of your success. I also spent my first two years loosing money with all the hype and buying all the useless e-books and gimmicks.
About a year ago I completely gave up on internet marketing loosing my shirt and no income from any endeavor. Being a retired postal worker with a very small pension and limited budget, in desperation started my first blog about 10 days ago.
I'm praying that all my mistakes may help me know. After reading your post Dean, I'm pretty sure I 'll have to revamp my blog as it has a bunch of affiliate links and images. I could use a critic from someone who is making it work if you have a chance to vist the blog. I would appreciate any suggestions. I'm not sure my blog is a blog or just another website.

I'm heading over to your site now to hopefully get some fresh ideas.

To answer some questions... I have done a few things, not only have I aligned myself with a top marketer ( Alex Jeffreys ) I literally have just spread over the net everywhere I can.

Forums and other targeted blogs has been my thing really, It seems many have gone through the same process as me and can relate to what I am doing

Its a great feeling ya know ?! It just drives me even more to see the impact I am having on people

In fact earlier I got a ping back to my blog so went to check it out what the site was... The subject of the post was ..

I mean.. WHAT !! Wow.. What a compliment.. I just couldnt believe my eyes..

Great work Dean,

I am doing something similar with 2 blogs both of which I love with a passion. One being making money in the offline niche and I just want to give great content and hope to help as many people as possible. Making money isn't my main goal. I do have a product but I am just dedicated to giving great advice, tips and content.

Get rid of your adsense.... why make $0.10 on a click from adsense and "kick" your visitor to another page? Set up a CPA or a straight offer and make real money instead.

My blog is also very successful. It contains helpful/useful information that visitors will find of interest.

I too write my posts in a teaching sort of way so that visitors are actually learning something new each time they check my new posts.

I reveal free software, free information and lot's of info from my personal experiences online.

A blog is a great way to build lists and promote your own products - which is what I do.

Congratulations. It's wonderful to hear about your success, and newcomers could learn a lot from the steps laid out in the initial post. If you're not willing to take some action, have a little bit of willpower to make your goals a realization, and try your best without the fear of failure, you're going to have a very hard time trying to make a success of internet marketing. Realistic goals need to be set, and then can be met and dealt with much easier than extremely difficult goals that you know will take you years to accomplish. I've read that article marketing is the thing to do if you're on a budge (i am) but when promoting affiliate products, would you use a blog vs. a static site?

Pick a plan and stay focused. The blog is an excellent way to do that! I started blogging 10 days ago, and the traffic continues to increase. The blog keeps me focused on what I do! A static website just sits there.

I have so many ideas coming and going in my head, that a blog keeps me focused. It also enables me to better communicate in the virtual world.

The only thing too watch out for when blogging about I.M. is that A) you are not an expert yet as you do already claim on the blog so watch out not to get carried away. and B) always remember that people come to blogs to get FREE info. So dont get blood thirsty now that you have made some money and begin shooting affiliate links everywhere ok. Im no expert in blogging but i have had a bunch of experience doing it before.

Nice job. You could probably look over the WP theme and make it look more professional. You know, there are lots of free themes out there. They way the sidebar displays in Firefox (which is what all sensible people use nowadays) is a problem.

As for me, I took a WP default ugly-greenish theme and reworked it myself in a blog of mine:

- which is a little hobby project of mine.

At this moment I have nothing to lose and everything to gain, I've read hundreds of success stories, who all seem to point out how easy their "systems" are and how anybody can do it, I started a blog "Switch To Digital" and pinged it everytime I've updated it, could someone help me with what else I can do, I'm missing something or/and doing something wrong, is my niche wrong, I'm really confused, and beginning to think I should give up, what's the big secret please.

I've also got hold of a copy of "On Demand Profit" and tried lots of different posts, but still nothing.

No it is not simple... it is easy tho ! ... What I mean by this is that it take sooo much work to make it happen

The work you have to actually put in though is simple it just takes so much of it

I did my first affiliate promotion about 3 weeks ago for Alex Jeffrey's coaching program and made a profit of $1729 in 8 days... Wow money can really be made online huh ?! I couldnt believe it

Now in the first 11 days of December I have made $525 as well as $11.40 recurring monthly commission.

I have now leveraged my last 7 weeks to create my first ever ebook... The blog setup guide !!

This is free on my blog for all to use

I suppose I want to tell this as encouragement to others and incase you are the path that I spent so long on heading in the wrong direction.

Stop buying into products and fads and start to build a life long business !!

I heard about you from Alex and I visited your blog. I did a similar thing, and put up my blog just after you. I even installed Google Analytic ahead of the herd. To date I have zero visitor! Worse to come, I was offering the same eBook as everyone else. I have about 65 subcribers, not a single conversion, someone there have 5 subscribers and 1 conversion. I am plodding on, but I have to think some one upstairs doesn't like me.

Quick update after about 12 weeks I think it is now, on about $3,500 profit so still going well. Although this month I stated on my blog I wasnt gpoing to try to make any money but focus on developing my blog

Hello Dean. You really had a right mindset. Action first, money later.
You know, when I was 17 years old, I was drawing cars at home like crazy, from day to night. I was not thinking about the money at all. But finally my actions started to bring in cash, though I didn't even think about it.

Truly inspiring! I've seen the same straegies where you can promote information about how to make money using a certain product by using another certain product. This works particularly well as a strategy and is most effective for MLM and internet marketing.
As an example, you can blog about making money by using money making blog! I've seen the same thing with social networks where the most popular pages are about the network itself. Hope this helps!
