Your highly appreciated advice

Hi All,

I am looking for the following.
Whenever I create a blog or site I do that centered on one keyword.
I can track my visitors, using this specific keyword in several ways:
  • Google AdWords, I can include a keyword in the URL
    Same for other search engines.
  • Article marketing (and other, likewise promotions like YouTube) where I put a keyword in the URL.
These (and no doubt other) methods are in my control.

The problem I want to tackle is this.

If in the SERP one of the sites appear and the searcher clicks on that URL I would like to know what they were looking for in the first place.
That way I can keep track of the results of my keywords.
Also, to make things a nitty bitty more complicated, I have sites running on asp.net as well as some wordpress blogs (PHP)

Does anybody know of a script that keeps track of what the visitors of a site were looking for in the first place when they visit a site through the SERP? If I can keep track of good-selling (and bad-selling) keywords I can adjust my sites accordingly.

Hoping for some good answers,

TIA
