Is bookmarking links are dead

Hello I have added many links in many book mark website like delicius, digg, mixx etc of 200 but many of those website not shown as backlinks from there why is this work not good or use full pls give me reply with research.

    Bookmarking certainly isn't dead. How long ago did you bookmark?

    Bookmarking helps but it is not a complete answer. I'd suggest submitting some articles to ezinearticles, building a squidoo lens, etc.

    The more quality links you can get now, the better off you'll be in the future.

    From my experience, bookmarking helps when you have a more elaborate strategy of posting articles [that will contain your main site URL] to places to article directories such as Ezine Article and on your own blogs and bookmarking the URLs to those resources. It also helps to submit your RSS Feed links to sites such as FeedAgg. I've used this strategy successfully to get on page 1 of Google [UK] for many long tail keywords.
