Which of these Is Better Domain for WebHosting?

Thanks in advance for your opinion, we're trying to decide which of our domains we should use for our Webhosting business:
AbleHosting.com
or
DeluxeHost.com
#domain #webhosting

Ablehosting seems better because you will have more people searching for the term hosting than host. Though deluxehost seems more i don't know stylish.

Thank you for your feedback. I noticed that too, more people search for "hosting" then "host". But on the Flip side of that, on google, less hosting companies optimize for the keyword "host" and more go for "hosting". So we'd have less competition and have a better chance to optimize for "host" (plus the adsense would cost less for "host").
Or maybe I just don't understand how it works

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

DeluxeHosting.com forwards to APlus.net as they own that domain.

Sorry if I gave you that impression. We are actually closer to using "AbleHosting" because that's the one my partner likes better. I happen to like DeluxeHost better, but we decided to let the greatest minds on the internet decide (Warrior Forum)

Thank you very much everyone that has given feedback so far.

"Able" makes you sound adequate or mediocre... I don't like it, but that's just my opinion. I prefer Deluxe host, but not tremendously more... get creative. Also, Hostgator, blue host, etc use host, not hosting in their names.

Since both of those addresses lead to active hosting sites it appears to me this is just a publicity stunt. Would you care to explain how I might be wrong? Trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

No publicity stunt, and no live links in this thread. Our new site is set up at AbleHosting.com for now, as that is what my partner prefers, however that site is far from complete. I would like him to switch to DeluxeHost, but he's not convinced. He respects the opinions on the Warrior Forum above my opinion, so I thought it would be best to find out what you all think. DeluxeHost is not an active hosting site, I threw up a quick design but the buttons don't work and there would be no way to purchase hosting there (notice all the text is just jibberish: "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, nisi turpis gravida urna")

I'm inclined to agree with the red part 100%.

Did you read my response to his post? DeluxeHost is not an active host and it is impossible to buy hosting there.

People are so quick to assume everything is a publicity stunt, no stunt here. I don't see how me disagreeing with my partner's choice of hosting domain would help us with publicity.

Fair enough, and no I didn't see your response when I first read this thread so I apologize.

As for which domain is better, they are both brandable and I don't think there's really any difference in terms of what is better. You're going to get a big split of responses on which to go with from peopl here, but in the end you and your partner will have to decide.

I spent 2 weeks going back and forth with my business partner over our hosting domain name (we found about 15 domains we could use).

Thank you Christian. Good point, sounds like that old saying, "Ask 100 different people, get 100 different answers."

deluxehost sounds more generic. I have been in the domain industry for quite some time so I think this is what you should go with. You should also redirect ablehosting to that name so you get more traffic

Forget about the "hosting" bit but rather got for say "gomamma" gopappa" or something catchy as that is the best way to sell hosting nowdays using word of mouth and marketing in forums that needs and use hosting.

I would say 90% of people here for some reason go for mr gator so you will have to compete with that monster, but if you service is good and uptime is good combined with the cost the I would say gomamma

So if you go with "hosting" or "host" you have over 7,480,000 searches and you will certainly need a fat budget

But "gomamma" only have 3600 searches a month but even better 10 word of mouth happy clients is a solid foundation which will grow into a sustainable hosting business
