What to do with newsletter?

I've seen a few of you have squeeze pages with 'free' newsletter signups. I was wondering what is a basic way to make money off a list? Promote clickbank products in them?

Would I need to be knowledgeable with the product/information that I'm trying to sell? I like the idea of making money off a newsletter, because I have time to make email releases every other week and it sounds simply. Any free guides or something? Thanks,

    We should remember to provide subscribers great content from time to time. Be kind to share with them. Let them be loyal and you are a professional.

    And we should not often provide them products.

    Personally I only have a select few people that I will promote. I hardly EVER send clickbank products, becuase most of the are crap and rehashed garbage.

    The best way I have found is to create the product yourself and promote it to your list. The key is to build passive assets, that will pay you every month, not to have quick shots of cash.

      I agree that creating your own products is the best way to go. Start by creating a free report and giving that away to build your list. Gain confidence and trust by providing them with useful information.

      Then you can create free products and promote to your list and they will be more likely to purchase from you.
