Incredible, tear-jerker of a video

Hi Warriors,

Those of you who know me know that my girlfriend Mary and I have done dog rescue work for many years. I live in a home on 25 acres with kennel facilities. We formed a non-profit dog rescue organization, AuntMarysDoghouse.com and have rescued huge numbers of dogs over the years. In fact, we just named a dog, Penny, in honor of Paul Myers.

Just a few minutes ago Mary sent me a link to one of the most incredible dog videos I've ever seen. It's at .

When you first watch it, it looks like it's going to be a little grim. Keep watching. It has a terrific ending.

Tell me you didn't get tears at the end of that video!

Now think of the videos you've made for your business. Did they grab your prospects the way this simple little dog did? I don't necessary mean that your video made them cry, but did it grab their heart, their emotions? Or did it just make a sales pitch?

Show this video to anyone who has ever said: "But it's just a dog!".

Yeah, right.

I have a friend who does videos that pack a pretty big motivational wallop. His first one went viral and got him over 200,000 subscribers. And it's still going.

He does them for other people now, and they're consistently effective. An excellent point, Monsieur Hartunian.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for sharing that video... it's really amazing.
I was astonished that the other dog DIDN'T drag
it with it's mouth but used it's paws instead.

Could you imagine what would happen if your prospects and customers got goosebumps when they watched your videos? And if they said "awesome" after they watched your videos?

I've watched so many marketing videos that were nothing more than video sales letters - and not very good ones at that.

We're still in the early stages of video, but like everything else, as video picks up speed, the talking head sales letter videos will be dinosaurs.

That is incredible! Wow! Thank you for posting that, and also thank you for the message about whether or not our online videos are grabbing people or not. This is an amazing video.

I don't think you can do a marketing video that has that type of impact. You can get people excited, etc - but you can't reach the emotion that you feel as you watch the dog's struggle to pull the other one off the road as traffic whizzes by.

I have a video on a dog hobby site that I really like and go to my own site every now an then just to watch/listen to it. It's at Dogs Rule|My Dogs Rule

Wasn't it also Mark Twain who said "The only problem with dogs is that they don't live long enough"? Or was it Will Rogers?

    Absolutely beautiful, just like dogs!

They truly are one of God's greatest blessings for us.

Another saying I always appreciated was my Uncle always said:

'The more people I meet, the better I like dogs'.
