Getting Traffic to a Squidoo Lens? I only have 6 days!

Hey everyone. Recently I just got in with this exclusive affiliate network. I'm not gonna say the name at the risk of me sounding like an advertiser. and I won't promote it until I actually see if they pay me on time. but I digress. I have 6 days to start generating clicks on my squidoo lens, and or make some money. The problem is I'm having trouble generating traffic for my Squidoo Lens that I'm using to promote offers.

Any tips for improving Squidoo traffic for affiliate marketing? Or should I switch to another blog? I mean it's not the end of the world if they kick me out, but the offers are legitimate and don't make me feel like a total scammer like with a great deal of the products on clickbank, so I'd like to figure out a way to generate free traffic, and fast.

so to clarify, you need to make money in six days or they will kick you out? Or is there some other reason that you need money so quickly? I didn't really get it.

They expect all their affiliates to generate money. It's pretty hardcore, though I didn't realize how serious they were before I signed up.

They might be serious and kicked you out. What is the problem for you in that case have you paid some initial joining fee like that.Anyway getting quick traffic is done via video creation.

I didn't pay any joining fee. And thanks for the advice Zed. Yeah, I did ping it with 3-4 different sites. But I haven't tried Traffic Bug yet. I'll give it a go.

Have you socially bookmarked and pinged your squidoo lens.

If not then use a service like 'Traffic Bug' to socially bookmark it and use a free site like Pingler to ping it

Putting up a squidoo lens alone wont cut it

    Wishing you the best dude

    Peace ~Z~

    I think you should do
    - commenting on blogs and attaching your Squidoo link to the comment luv (most of blogs have it installed),
    - bookmarking your lens on every possible social bookmarking site you can think of,
    - sharing it on Facebook and Twitter,
    - creating a YouTube video to promote it
    - creating a slideshow out of your lens and uploading it to slideshare.net
    - writing an article related to your lens and submitting it to a few major article directories
    - maybe answering a few questions that are related to your lens on Yahoo answers... etc.

If it will help, there is a post in my signature with 50 traffic sources you can use.

6 days pretty much rules out anything but paid traffic or incentivized traffic.

Look up Robert Puddy on this forum and ask about traffic exchanges and the like. Its incentivized traffic, but it can definitely work if done the right way, and it can work in 6 days (to an extent) and he's one of the few who can tell you exactly how to do it correctly.

My squidoo lenses usually take a little while to get going. I still don't quite understand how their scoring system works.

Build links on your lenses. Do some link building effort, or promote your lenses through social networking sites.

You might want to look into some forum signature marketing or pay per click advertising. Either way you cut it, you're going to have to either front some cash or work really hard at articles, forums and videos if you want to get traffic in six days.

Fivver is good option, but you will not get sales at all.
Do as usually to promote your site, but six days are not enough.
You need more time to make money on internet

This is the first I hear an affiliate company pushes its affiliates to make money in 6 days or any days. I bet you made it up right. Because it doesn't matter if it get ranked top it stills needs buyers and depending on your content and product it must be great enough for them to pull out they're wallets. The time limit you set without knowing what it will bring in is not equal to a normal day online. You need to set your priorities straight first before diving into any program and it seems you simply want to give up when you haven't started. If you want to generate FREE traffic then you need to LEARN how to do it and in learning there is either time or money and many times BOTH. The time can be spent searching in this forum and online for every free content you can get your hands on which is overwhelmingly painful or you can spend a few dollars finding out how it is done or let someone else do it for you which we call it, outsourcing.

I've done seo for squidoo lens that has ranked in the top positions on Google but its a constant battle to keep up with competition even though Squidoo is an authority site. So either you know the ropes or you'll swing back and forth in empty space.
